Well, I've created over 100 Perler bead sprites now. I haven't posted all of them here, just the more uncommon ones. After all, does the world really need to see another 1-Up mushroom perler pic posted? o_o
I am running out of wallspace to hang these things on.
I decided to start cacodemon because he used no black. Received my shipment of 6,000 black beads later that afternoon -_- .. Round Perler projects are tough, as the stress caused when they cool and contract tends to break them apart just all over the place! Whereas something like my Jubilee sprite -- you might have a foot or something that won't attach, but the stress tends to even itself out somehow..
So when I flipped the sprite off the pegboards I had some unexpected loose beads and seam breakage that caused a decent size portion to be a loss. Luckily I managed to create a patch to fill in the hole. This is difficult because the beads
I mentioned something about the DOOM weapons a while back(monochrome-gs.deviantart.com/a…). Even though it's an easy Perler art to do, it was a bit of a challenge for me, because the reference image I used in making the Super Shotgun threw me off. Here's the link to the image.
