I love this, I need help with my inferred! I just got my infrared filter today, and I tried to take a few pictures and all I get is black nothingness. So I've been googling info for the last 2 hours, and a site directed me to your IR "white balance" chart. I have a Nikon D3100. I did the tv remote control test and I did get some lights back. I set the ISO to 400, I messed around with fstop , and exposure time... still blackness.
