Another lazy Friday night, and another boring babysitting adventure. I was recently asked by a neighbor to take care of his pet corgi, Skittles, while he was away. I had nothing better to do, so I blindly agreed to babysit for him. Skittles was an annoying dog, constantly barking or pestering me. He was an adorable little brown and white Pembroke welsh corgi, yet he was far too rambunctious. He spent most of his time running around my house on his stubby little legs, and barking a bunch. He would wiggled his small stub of a tail around, as he yipped constantly. He waddled back and forth, as he occasionally licked at his brown and white fur.
It was driving me up the wall! I laid on the couch, as the yippy little dog continued to pester me. I eventually got fed up, and looked over at the dog. "Shut up!" I shouted, to which the dog responded by barking even louder. What did it want? I fed it, I gave it water, I took it for a walk, and yet it's still pestering me! I looked over to what the dog was barking at, and wasn't surprised by what I saw. I had left the mind-swapping machine out in the open in the other room. I was considering re-enacting The Fly tonight, until I was saddle-bagged with this stupid dog! This would be a good excuse to test out the new machine though... I'm guessing the dog wanted me to use this machine, for some reason I didn't quite understand.
I assumed he wanted to swap bodies with me, but what for? Well, my curiosity was piqued! Maybe if I swapped bodies with him for a few hours, then maybe he wouldn't bother me anymore. I walked over to the dog and scooped him into my arms, as I walked towards the machine. I had never been a corgi before, this would prove to be enlightening. I carried the yappy little mutt over to the machine and sat him down on the left chair. As I did so, a steel helmet lowered over his head. I walked over to a console in-between the two machines, and moved my hand towards a small knob on the control panel. This was a newer model, so I could set it to swap two people or animals for as long as two weeks.
I grabbed the dial and set it to two hours, and then sat down on the other chair. The helmet lowered over my head, as steel manacles emerged from the chair and secured my hands in a bound position. "Initializing mind transfer." Said a voice from the console, "Please keep in mind that only the being in possession of the owner's body may swap back at any time during the limit. If you aren't in your original body, then you will have to wait for the time limit to expire. Preparing body-swap for one week." That line the console said made me shiver with fear, I didn't set it for a week!
I looked out of the corner of my eye, and saw that knob was covered in drool! The dog had altered the time limit, I was going to be stuck as a dog for a whole week! The device began to hum, as I felt the machine begin to vibrate. Electricity began to filter from the console into the chairs, as the dread of being stuck as a dog began to fill my being. The helmets crackled and fizzled with energy, as the helmet began to glow green from the inside. The green light blinded me, as I lost all feeling in my body.
The green light covered my vision, until I noticed the color change. Without warning, the color inside the helmet became a faded shade of grey. My body felt small and hairy, I had no doubt that I now inhabited Skittle's body! The helmet lifted upwards, as I took notice of the world around me. Colors were extremely faded, to the point of being unrecognizable. The world lacked detail, and it looked as if I was staring at bad quality footage of a movie or something. My nose began flaring up, as many various scents wafted in through my sensitive nostrils.
I smelt all kinds of differing scents, and I found that it was almost intoxicating in a way. The fumes drove my senses wild, but not as much as my hearing did. I could hear anything and everything that was in close proximity, everything was loud when it should be silent. I could hear cars from outside, I could hear the tap dripping in the bathroom. That wasn't the worst of it though, as I soon took inventory of all the new differences in bodily form. For one thing, I was insanely short! My body was barely as big as the back of the chair, and the machine before me looked huge. I felt so incredibly tiny, that even the lamp in the corner looked imposing! My body was covered in shaggy warm fur, and I quickly found that it was surprisingly itchy! Oh no, did I have fleas?! I laid on the chair and attempted to scratch myself using one of my back-legs, but I was in for another huge shock! My leg was so stubby that I couldn't scratch myself!
The lack of opposable fingers reminded me that I couldn't manipulate objects, or even attempt to scratch this annoying itch. I also found that I had a very short tail, that would wiggle around on command. I knew I had to get out of this doghouse and back to my body, but first I had more pressing matters to deal with! I stuck my canine muzzle over the side of the chair and looked down. It was a very high drop, do I want to chance it? I've seen dogs fall over, or land on their feet all the time. I shouldn't be scared of this, I am a man! I trotted to the back of the chair, and began running using my stubby legs. I leapt of the chair, while wiggling my tail in mid-flight. To my surprise, I landed on all four paws safely! I must be part-cat to pull off such a landing, or maybe I'm just incredibly lucky.
I looked around for my body, and quickly heard a barking sound not unlike my normal human speaking voice. I ran to the other side of the house and into the kitchen, where I found Skittles attempting to leap up and snatch a half-opened candy bar from the counter. That was his goal, he wanted to taste chocolate as a human! Although, I doubt that was all he wanted! The dog in my body tried leaping towards the counter over and over, but found that he couldn't reach it. Eventually, the dog gave up and took notice of me. I was afraid he was about to bark in my ear or attack me, but surprisingly he walked around to the back of me. He stuck his now human face to my backside, and took a big whiff of my behind! Chills ran through my back, as the former dog vigorously sniffed my butt!
I was so utterly shocked by this bizarre twist, that I found that I couldn't move my body at all! I stood motionless, like a canine statue and was so disturbed by this event that I couldn't even bark in response! The dog eventually stopped his awkward actions, and walked to the front of me. I saw my own visage looking back at me, his tongue was dangling out from his mouth, his face bore a clueless expression, and his mannerisms matched that of a common canine. I stared awestruck at the downright dumb look my body was giving me, and I didn't understand it all! The machine is supposed to transfer thoughts and thought-patterns between users, so the other could perfectly masquerade as that being. However, that wasn't what was happening here at all.
The dog was still acting like a dog, despite receiving the gift of humanity. As I stared at the dog, I wondered what was going on inside his head. As I was deep in thought, I failed to take notice of him moving his head towards mine! Surprisingly, he reached his tongue out and gave me a lick on my furry cheek! I leapt back and surprise and began barking madly as the imposter! He whimpered and made a run for the stairs, as I continued to bark at him from a far. I could here the beast whimpering from upstairs, as it continually sobbed. I felt somewhat sad about barking at him, it wasn't his fault! I'm the one who tossed him in the machine, I could've said no!
I felt so bad that I knew I had to go apologize. I ran over to the stairs as fast as my stubby legs could carry me, and I found myself quickly looked up at a rather long climb. As a human, climbing the stairs isn't a big problem at all. However, since I was a tiny little dog, I had a much steep climb ahead of me! I hopped up on the first step, nearly falling down in the process! My body was so small and fragile, that I naturally felt panicked at the thought of falling down these steps. I continued to hop up each step slowly but surely, and made my way to the top of the stairs. As I made it to the top of the stairs, I heard the dog in my body whimpering once more. I trotted towards the door, and walked right through the open entryway. Sitting there in the corner was the dog, still traumatized by the canine scolding he received earlier.
I walked over towards him on all four feet, and soon found that he was unresponsive to anything I did. I'd tug on his shirt, lick his face, or wiggle my tail about, but nothing cheered him up. I eventually gave up on trying to make him happy, and decided to do something else. Something I noticed was that my body was nearly out of energy. I was running on fumes, I had nothing left! I noticed the doggy bed and the corner, and I quickly ran towards it. I had never slept in a doggy bed before, are they really that comfortable? I knew there was only one way to find out, so I hopped into the soft warm bed. I laid my tiny body against the pillow, as I heard the dog begin trotting towards me.
He wandered up to the foot of the doggy bed, and rested his head against the pillow opposite of my body. It seems like I hadn't scarred him too much after all! We both dozed off, as I found myself in a strange dream-like meadow. I began running through the meadow, but made no headway. I should've known this was a dream, but at the time I had no clue. I couldn't rationalize my thoughts in this dreamscape, so I was forced to run though this never-ending field. I woke up much later when I heard two humans talking. Wait, wasn't I a human? I'm overthinking things, dogs can't be humans! "I took good care of him, Terry!" The woman nodded in response, "I see that, he seems to really enjoy your company! I'll have to bring him by again sometime!" She shouted, as she reached down to pick up my still-tired body.
My owner picked me up and pulled me closer to her chest, to the point where my head was resting against her breasts! For some reason or another, I was strangely enjoying it! Her soft cushiony chest rested against my head, as I yipped excitedly. "I'm so glad I hired you to do this, James! My other babysitter is a little...Odd. He's a raccoon named Ness, and he has a tendency to swap bodies. Can you believe that?" The human laughed in response, "A talking raccoon as a babysitter? That's just crazy, I may have to meet this guy!" Owner nodded in response, "Maybe you will meet him one day, he is a rather fun-loving fellow. I have to get going now, my little angel is dead tired! Since you tell me he's been good, I think I may even give him yum-yums when we get home!"
Owner carried me out the door, while gripping my tightly in her arms. As this happened, my memory began to come back to me. I was a human who swapped bodies with a dog, but what kind of human was I? Why would I swap bodies with a dog, and what caused it? These questions were lost on me, as I found I couldn't rationalize thoughts properly. I'd love to be a human, they seem to have the most fun! As my owner carried me down the stairs, the human began following behind us. He went over to the kitchen and grabbed a strange wrapped object from the counter. He took a bite of it as I watched him from afar. I had always wanted to try whatever it is that he's eating, if only owner would let me! Owner waved goodbye to the man and carried me outside. I had a fun night, it sucks that I can barely remember any of it! Oh well, dogs usually don't take these kind of situations to heart! I was just happy for owner taking me home, I had a serious craving for yum-yums!
What happens when I'm asked to babysit my neighbor's corgi? If you guess misadventures, then you've obviously read my stories before! XD Features a cameo by Larathelabrat from FurAffinity. He shot me a note earlier today, and since I've been a fan of his work for a long I felt really good about it! I decided to toss him in as a cameo as thanks.
The common myth that dogs are color blind is only partly true - they can see color, alright, but only shades of blue and yellow.
Corgis are the only small dogs I can stand!
This is very awesome. But, the dog finally shut up eventually XD
Yep, now I'm that quiet dog!
Whose a good doggy?
I am! I am! *Begs for treats*
Awww. How could I say no to a cute doggy. *gives him some meat*
Who doesn't love swapping bodies with corgis? Everyone deserves to swap with one at least once!
*Smirks and swaps you with a corgi* Everyone! XD
I clicked thinking this was some kind of story with a weird new fetish I haven't heard about
Actually, this is fetish-based work. I consider body-swapping to be a fetish, I just downplay the fetish elements in this one. This is my tame stuff, I've got stuff that's way more hardcore.
me never get how transforming is a fetish
It's a bit hard for an outsider to understand. There's a lot more to transformation than you think, there's a lot of sub-genres, different storytelling devices, and various things to transform a character into.
ah, try me.
It's a lot easier to just go to transformation groups and absorb it there. Find what you like rather than having it all explained.
Alright, you asked for it. There are various types of transformation: Animal TF, which involves a person turning into an animal. On other sites, this is often displayed as pornographic in nature, which is why people find it sexy.
