I had never been a huge fan of online gaming, but whenever a game offers an online mode for free, I'm totally for it. To a certain extent, at least. Playing with people who don't even know how to play the game is bad, but playing with someone who's computer rig can barely play the game is even worse. That's the problem I being faced with at the moment, a person who was two of these things times one hundred. And now, I inhabit that person's body! I'll go ahead and start at the beginning. You see, I had recently joined a server that hosted the classic RuneScape from 2001. I hadn't played RuneScape version 1 in years! I needed a break from my constant body-swapping, and animal transformations.

It was just me in my own body, a bottle of Mountain Dew, a classic game, and a couple bags of skittles. Truly, I was a prince among men! It was good to be me again, sometimes I switch bodies so much that I lose track of who I really am: A gigantic nerd! Now was the time for the ultimate gaming session, and I was fully prepared! After booting up my computer, I went to my classic RuneScape client and booted it up! This was the RuneScape I remembered, no crappy online-fees, no improved graphics, and best of all, no annoying kids! This was the RuneScape that should still exist in the world today! While I moved my knight throughout the world, I noticed a person lagging to an insane degree. I logged onto my account, "James_Is_Sometimes_Human".

The person was a female mage, and she seemed to be glitching out so much that her character was walking around in circles. Her username was, "Sexy_Skunk" and she seemed to be having trouble with her game. I began clacking away at the keyboard as I typed, "Do you need some computer advice?" She responded by typing, "I'm fine, don't bother me! This game runs perfect on my Amiga!" My mouth dropped as I read what she had just typed, there was no way she was serious! I don't even think Amigas can run emulated online games like this! She must be pulling my chains. "Sure, whatever." I typed, as I walked my user away from the crazy mage. "Wait, actually I could use your help!" I sighed, and wheeled my character back towards her. "What do you need help with? Do you need tips on how properly run your computer on an old game like this?" She responded by typing in, "Old? This game came out several months ago! It's practically brand new!"

I began to laugh to myself, as I could hardly believe that someone would post something so stupid! "This game came out more than ten years ago! You must have the brains of a skunk as well!" She began typing in a response, "Don't make fun of skunks! Skunks are awesome creatures in every way, and I doubt a human like you would understand!" I nearly fell over laughing at this remark, I couldn't believe what this woman was saying! Maybe if she said she was a giant chicken, then maybe I'd believe her! However, skunks don't play computer games! "Oh wow, you really are a crazy girl!" I typed in response, as I continued to laugh like a hyena. "We'll see who's a skunk in a minute." She typed, as her character stopped glitching around and stood perfectly still. She typed a single word, "Swap." That's when my laughing stopped, and panic began to spread through my being.

Was I about to get into another body-swapping fiasco? Before I could move, the power suddenly went out. It came back on right afterwards, much to my surprise. I was relieved to find that nothing had changed, not a single bizarre occurrence this time! I wiggled my big bushy black tail, as I patted my medium-sized breasts. Nothing out of the ordinary at all! That James guy was such a tool, but his name seemed oddly familiar. I ignored that thought, as I gave my Amiga a firm hug. It truly was a dependable computer, it didn't matter what any man said about it! He was probably one of those human things I keep hearing about, probably nothing! I stood on my foot-paws, as I sniffed the air with my tiny pink nose. Amy had forgotten to take out the trash again, how could I have not noticed with my acute sense of smell?

I decided to make sure my fur was presentable for tonight, I had a girls night out thing with Amy and Zig-Zag. I strutted over to the mirror, as I gripped the hair brush firmly in my paws. I looked in the mirror to see my beautiful female skunk form staring back at me! I had my wonderful curves, beautiful eyes, white head-fur, and a pair of wonderful glasses that sat atop my delicate pink nose. I wore my usual plain blue T-shirt, which us the only article of clothes I normally choose to wear. Maybe I wasn't the most beautiful skunk around, but I couldn't deny that I was a looker! I reached down and grabbed the hairbrush off of the table, as I gripped it firmly in my paw. It was time for Sabrina Skunk to look her best! I took the brush, and began grooming my tail. Because it was so large, it took a lot of brushing just to get it right!

As I combed my tail, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. Something seemed off, as if everything wasn't right with the world. I was having unexplainable identity issues, I felt as though I shouldn't be who I was right now. I gave my head a good shake, as I focused on getting ready for tonight. After brushing my luxurious skunk tail, I went back to preparing myself for tonight's events. I knew Zig-Zag would try to hook me up with some handsome fox or lion, but I was fine with Richard Conrad, the lovely raccoon who stole my heart! For some reason, I couldn't help but think of someone named James. It couldn't have been that terrible user from earlier, why would I think about him? I lived in 2-dimensional cartoon world, I had no time for supposed humans!

I walked over to the washroom to brush my teeth, right before my mind suddenly blanked out on me. I felt as though I was forgetting something tremendous, I just didn't know what! I stared at my reflection in the mirror, as a thought began to take route in my head. At first, it seemed like just some random delusion, but I eventually found out that it was an undeniable truth! I discovered that this wasn't my body, I wasn't Sabrina Skunk! The haze that filled my mind cleared, as I began to rationalize the situation. I was James, a human nerd! I wasn't some skunk-lady from another dimension! I let out feminine scream, as I realized what had happened! That skunk had jacked my body! What's worse is that the world I now occupied was two dimensional! Everything was a living animation, so I had no keen depth-perception! I looked into the mirror at my new form, as I felt that the body I now possessed was oddly familiar. This body's name is Sabrina, but I couldn't be the Sabrina that I'm thinking of! Or could I? I looked at my reflection once more, as I remembered something I used to read a long time ago. It was Sabrina Online the web-comic, I had ended up in a work of fiction!

I had to get my body back, and I had to do it now! I dropped the comb on a nearby stool, as I walked back to my computer. Before I could make it to the console, I took notice of the calendar. It said that the date was, "July 28th, 2001". Wait, it was 2001?! That couldn't be, not only did I switch bodies with a cartoon skunk, but I also ended up in the past! 2001 was the dark ages for nerds, internet access was bad, videogames were in this bizarre period of evolving slightly, the Playstation 2 had just destroyed the Dreamcast and it was only one year after everyone realized Y2K was an absolute joke! I assumed that the RuneScape client I was running had some strange reality warping side-effect, which stranded me in another time and body. It was time to breakout, and get back to my reality! I made it the Amiga computer, as I booted it back up. Being an old computer, coupled with an insanely inferior internet connection, this thing became outrageously slow. As I waited for the computer to boot up, I looked down at my body. I was pants-less skunk with rather small breasts. They were kind of disappointing to be honest, Jennifer had much bigger yams!

I wiggled my big tail around, as I waited for the computer to finish booting up. After that, I was ready to surf the net. However, I quickly found that to be an extremely daunting task. The computer moved as fast a snail, and navigating from page to page was needlessly difficult. I had forgotten how bad the internet was back in the day! I finally made it to the RuneScape homepage. I clicked the "Play Now!" button, as the loading bar began to slowly inch along. The internet connection was so bad, that I had wait 15 whole minutes for it to load 1%. I couldn't believe this, it was going to take forever! As I waited for the device to slowly load, I decided to poke around Sabrina's computer. Maybe I could find out why Sabrina stole my body! I looked about, and found a special program called, "Nonsensical Body-Swap Program". That's probably how she did it!

All I need now is access to the RuneScape server, and to use this program to get my body back! However, that was going to take a long time. I impatiently tapped my paws against the desk as I waited for this slow computer to finish booting the game. It took far too long, to the point where I had to think of something to do in order to amuse myself in the meantime. The whole time I felt ticked off about being trapped in a skunk furry's body, it truly was an odd experience. My fur was soft and well-groomed, my nose was petite and small, my ears stood at the side of my head like antennae, and I had a tail that was almost up to my head in length. Not to the mention the fact that I wasn't wearing pants, which seems wrong anyway you look at it! As I impatiently sat at my computer, I thought of things I could do to kill time.

I remembered that Sabrina was supposed to be getting read for a girls night out, maybe I could go have some fun with them in the meantime! I closed my eyes, as I sighed. This was supposed to be my ultimate RuneScape session, but it once again turned into another body-swapping fiasco! As I hung my head in shame, I heard someone knock at the door. I opened my eyes up wide in an instant, and hopped off of the chair. I ran as fast as my paws could carry me to the door, and quickly turned the knob. Once the door was open, I was greeted by Amy the squirrel and Zig-Zag the tiger-skunk. The two characters smiled at me, as they walked towards me. "Sabrina, how's it been going?" I smiled weakly, as I took a deep breath. "Oh, it's been going!" The promiscuous Zig-Zag, took her paw and gave me a firm smack on my exposed behind.

The whole time, she giggled at me like a hyena. Army began to scowl, as she stomped her paw on the ground. "Hey, I thought you weren't going to take that sexual harassment from her anymore!" I wanted to take Amy's thoughts to heart, but a more mischievous idea entered my brain. Since Sabrina stole my body without remorse, I'll just embarrass her for revenge! I smiled mischievously, as I leaned in to give Zig-Zag a kiss on her furry cheek. I pressed my lips against he soft fur, as Amy began to gag. "I don't know what's gotten into you, but I like it! Drinks are on me, sugar-skunk!" Zig-Zag walked off to the vehicle, as Amy ran towards me. "What's gotten into you, Sabrina?! I thought you were fine with Richard! Since when did you become a lesbian?" I giggled to myself, as I skipped off. I ignored Amy's statements, as I bounded down the hallway.

I made it to the parking lot, as I felt the cold wind beat against my fur. The scents surrounding the area filtered in through the slits in my nostrils, as I felt the network of smells overwhelm my senses. As I stood there marvelling at the smells, Amy came running up to me! "Isn't it beautiful, Sabrina?" I nodded in agreement, "You don't know the half of it!" Amy smirked as she stared down at my legs, "So, what's with your pants today? They look somewhat different, did you buy a new brand?" I leapt back in surprise, did she say pants? That can't be, I feel like I'm wearing nothing at all! "Did I scare you somehow, Sabrina?" I shook my head, "Not at all! N-now, let's go have some fun and do stuff!" I took off for Zig-Zag's vehicle with Amy close behind me. I was going to have to wait at least fortnight for RuneScape to properly boot up, but I wasn't too bothered by the whole situation. I had two hot web-comic women, and I was in the body of an attractive skunk! For me, this was furry's dream come true!
I really needed to finish this story. I got to the halfway point about three weeks ago and never completed it. I thought I should at least work on it bit by bit. Anyway, this is based off a webcomic called "Sabrina Online".  I'm not a big fan of the comic anymore, but I thought I'd make this for old time's sake. This comic got me interested in the fandom, so I thought I'd thank the creator of the comic by making this. I don't own the picture, the characters, or the comic. It's all copyrightws to Eric Schwartz. Also, RuneScape used to be awesome. :)

RuneScape was once fun, now it's crap. It was so retro and cool!

You gotta love his priorities: he just switched bodies with another person who could be wreaking who knows how much havoc in his body, and all he's concerned about is the fact that he's in 2001.

Well, I tend to portray myself in my stories as a goofy loser. That's kind of the joke, that I care more about being stuck in 2001 than some nerdy skunk causing havoc in my body.

Nothin' really, I just like making fun of the early 2000s when technology was in that weird period of evolution.

Yep, and the slow internet connections, the awkward transition into the next generation of video games, MMOs that run extremely slow and cost 15 bucks a month. I've got no beef with that point in time, because I did really enjoy that period of my life.

I just like to make fun of it. I think the 90s are the greatest moments in my life, but I can still look back at how cheesy everything in general media was.

Nice Job James. Really like the quick swap you did. All your references were funny as well. Those were my favorite part of the story.

Thanks! I went for a different kind of swap this time and it paid off. Now that I'm stuck in a female skunk's body, I definitely feel strange! :D

I've read a good part of Sabrina Online. Not a bad little comic but I lost interest awhile ago. Runescape did used to be awesome. I wish they'd update the user interface more, then I might consider taking up the mantle again.

I only read up to 2001 in terms of material. I heard the new stuff, like that horrific story arc where Sabrina gets stabbed in a back-alley is awful. I don't think I'm going to ready anymore of it, despite it being better than a lot of furry webcomics.

It gets more... slice of life style rather then comedy. Meh. I don't mind comics evolving.. the artist just has to understand he'll lose some fans in hopes of gaining more. I'll probably not pick it up ever again. I don't know where I left off.

Yeah, not a big fan of the slice-of-life stuff. I mainly read it for the nostalgic parts (Like how Sabrina loves Beast Wars and Quake) but that's mainly because I'm a huge 90s nerd. I used to like it, until I started hearing about the controversy that the creator was also a porn artist. Not to mention the fanbase seems fairly rabid about the whole series.

Lol, yea he does porn. Big woopdedoo. I don't care. Sabrina was his clean work and I don't believe he ever tried to hide the porn stuff.. it was just people finally putting 2 and 2 together.

There are a few other webcomics with such stories. Grrl Power artist used to do some furry porn stuff (or something...) and even place one of his porn characters in the comic. (hint... she stands out.) Btw, read that super hero based webcomic. It's awesome and full of geekyness. Sadly updates slowly but still worth it.
