This book includes 31 (and maybe some extras) illustrations done during inktober. I'm so very proud of the work in this book, and I hope you guys will enjoy it as well.

I have an announcement to make! I am opening commissions for custom journals, like this one here.
I am selling them for $20 plus shipping. If your order soon, you'll be able to get one in time for Christmas! These would make an AWESOME and totally unique Christmas gift.
The journals themselves are 3.5 x 5.5 inches and have 64 pages. You can get lined paper or blank pages, it's up to you!
Let me know what you think!
I finally made an online store. Right now, I'm selling prints and ACEOS. THE ACEOS are $3, and mini prints (4x6) are also $3. Larger prints (8x10) are $10. But in the future, I'd like to make stickers, buttons, bookmarks, keychains. All that fun stuff! Maybe I'll sell some originals, too, but we will see about that. I get really attached to my originals!
I'm so happy and excited to have this. I hope you'll check it out!
If you have any questions or suggestions for me, please let me know
So I went to my first convention this weekend - but it wasn't an art convention. I went to UtopYA, which is a book convention for authors to network with other authors and bloggers. For those of you who don't know, my aunt's first novel is being puboished on June 30th. I do all of her graphic design work, and I've also done a lot of original art for her. (My Alexcia, Sonnet, and Space fairy drawings) So anyway, this past weekend, she flew me out to Nashville and we went to the convention. It was a BLAST - and a surprising oppurtunity for me.
So, I was talking to some of the authors about my YouTube channel, and how I review my aunt's books in said videos while drawing her characters from the series. They. Freaked. Out. They all were interested in having me draw THEIR characters, and what's more, some gaveme copies of their books to review in my video! WHAT.
So my art and my channel are going in a new direction - a very awesome direction. I love books. I love helping people. I love drawing. If I can combine all three of those, I'm damn well going to! Plus I get to tell people all about awesome indie authors.
Of course, I will still post regular speedpaints and art challenges and the like. That won't change. I;ll just be adding something new!
I'm so grateful to all the authors I met at the convention. They were some of the sweetest, funniest, and most encouraging people I've ever met.
And hey, if you're an author, email me! I'd love to make a video for you as well <3
Thanks for all the support, guys. I love you all!
Do you guys have any advice for a first time con goer? Or is there anything you'd like to see me sell (fanart wise)?
THIS IS SO EXCITING FOR ME
Today I discovered the most amazing group here on DA. Their mission is to collect lineart and coloring pages from artists. Then the print those art, pack them up with sets of crayons and pencils, and send them to children's hospitals. As someone who spent a lot of time in the hospital as a kid, I know firsthand how much it sucks. It's boring, you miss your friends, you feel horrible. That's why this speaks to me so much. If I was brought awesome coloring pages (and not just the kind you see in coloring books) I would have been ECSTATIC. (Shoot, I would still be happy to get coloring pages even in the adult hospital)
So, to all of my artist friends out there, please consider sending this group your linearts and coloring pages! It's for an amazing cause and can make a sick kid really happy.
Here's the group:
Thank you everyone!
I'm so thankful to everyone who takes the time to watch my videos or look at my art. I love you all so much
To find out how to win an original by yours truly, check out this video!
I don't want to give too much away right now, but I will be making a separate journal entry with all the awesome details.
For now, have a teaser with my newest Youtube video - featuring Kathy-Lynn Cross' SPACE FAIRIES!
Hello, everyone! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Momo. I have a very important thing to ask of all of you today. Please take the time to read and share this, it would mean everything to me. Thank you!
I live with a chronic, uncurable genetic disease called Cystic Fibrosis. It effects my lungs, sinuses, and digestive system. It makes life really hard sometimes. The current life expectancy is 35 years, but thanks to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, that number is growing every year.
The thing about Cystic Fibrosis is that it’s classified as a rare disease. Not many people know about it, so it’s hard to get funding for new medical research. So, every year, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation hosts a Walk-a-Thon to help raise money so that people like me may one day have a cure for this horrible illness. This event is only of the ONLY events that generates donations for the foundation. If it wasn’t successful, we would have no new medicine, no new treatments, no hope.
That’s why I’m reaching out to all of you. I need your help to raise money for this amazing charity. Every single penny counts! Even if you can’t donate, which is perfectly understandable, please help me spread the word. It would mean the world to me and my family, and every other child, teenager, and adult who is a Cystic Fibrosis Survivor. (we aren’t sufferers. we are survivors)
TO DONATE: Please follow this link and input your payment information: secure2.convio.net/cffh/site/D…
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT CYSTIC FIBROSIS:
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this. I appreciate every single person who does. Please please spread the word, and if you can, please consider donating. Your money goes to improving the lives of 30,000 Cystic Fibrosis patients. Thank you, and have an excellent week!
And here's my Youtube channel, if you haven't already subscribed to it. www.youtube.com/channel/UCdjDT…
Thank you all for supporting me <3 I love you guys, and I hope you're having an excellent weekend!
So, first of all, I may be getting a new job. Not only that, but it's a graphic design job. Not ONLY that, but it's a graphic design job I can do entirely at home. NOT ONLY THAT, but it's a full time graphic design job I can do entirely at home. To say I'm incredibly excited would be an understatement. Right now, I'm working at this horrible horrible retail job (my boss is an asshole, oh let me count the ways. Also he's very rude to me about my illness) And I really just can't wait to QUIT, right to his face. Hahaha. I'm so excited. Saying that though, I WILL have less time to do art, as I will be getting like, double the hours. Which is awesome for my wallet, not so awesome for my art. But it'll be really nice not to have to worry about not paying my rent every month. ;^;
Once I get everything with my job sorted out, I would also really like to open commissions. Would anyone be interested? They could be a bit on the expensive side (by deviantart's standard, at least, seeing as on this website, everyone seriously undercharges themselves). I was thinking $15 for a portrait, $20 for a bust, $30 for a full body. Reference sheets for $20 no color, $30 with color. Backgrounds extra. And also being able to ship the original for an extra $10? Just something I've been thinking about. I don't need to live off my art, but I would love to make some extra money doing it. Also sort of related, I'd really love to get a patreon account set up. I'd give away art prints, line arts, high res scans, and of course, giveaways. Would anyone be interested in that, either? I'd love your feedback on it! <3 It really helps me out, guys.
Oh, and did I tell anyone here that I'm getting married?? Because that happened. I can post a picture of my ring if anyone cares (ITS SO PRETTY AND SPARKLY AHH) <3 <3 <3
