This is what I do at work all day.... :iconomgewplz:

Learn the anatomuuuus! I brought my trusty anatomy book to learn all those bones and muscles >.> Stringy arms are still giving me grief though..specially the lower portion of the arm... those muscles are so complicated? whyyyyyyyyy????!!!!

So what have I learnt? I usually have trouble with the part where the clavicle makes an indent on the skin on the shoulder. But since I know where the bone is now it will be easier to get it in the right place ;) Refer to the top left corner.

Tip of the day? get an anatomy book OTL they really are helpful.

learning the muscles, does the male differ greatly from the female, or are they basically the same?

They are the same. I'm sorry if I wasn't the one you'd prefer answer this question, but it is the truth. There's no difference in female and male muscles.

I'm trying to get my anatomy down proper myself. I'm not as dedicated as to study books on the subject to further my skills in the area, but that's soon to change. However, this is an excellent resource! My weakness, especially, is mostly the upper body and hands. Not to mention this serves as an excellent guide and perfect reason why going from book to pencil and paper is a worthwhile prospect.

Look at em bone and muscle structure

What anatomy book do you have? I've taken anatomy classes and all and this drawing concept is still hard for me to get poses that actually look languid and that they belong to the human body. But you're help sheets actually give me a bit of help that's easy to understand and learn from.

Wow, your entire "Anatomy and drawing tips" folder is really helpful!!! I'm taking Anatomy & Physiology this year, along with Drawing and Painting :P Derp.
You're probably not going to respond soon, but what anatomy book would you recommend?? Or is any good?
Also, 'work'? WHAT'S YOUR JOB?! O_o

I think of the forearms as a group of basic muscles first, just three.
