They crawled from the darkness with no-one noticing it. Opening their glowing eyes one by one, the dark creatures appeared from the deep forest, carrying the mysterious glowing mushrooms on their backs. Moving like puppets being controlled from afar, these creatures were angry, and the Kukuris were their target.
<da:embed wytiwyg="1" profile="youtube" id="rmqm2KKOUfY">
There have been reports of these dark mushroom creatures, and Kukuris and their handlers have joined in arms to eradicate these monsters from their lands! Not only do they violently attack any Kukuri they come across, but the more wounded the Kukuri becomes, the more likely it will be infected by the mushrooms! It seems that when they do so, something tries to take control of them... but Kukuris are stronger than this entity seems to think.
JOIN THE FIGHT TO DEFEAT THE SHROOMIES.
Join the fray! Apply medicine The status log
There are 3 strongholds where the players work together to eliminate as many shroomies as they can. Every stronghold has 2 weeks of time until the players have to move onto defending the next one, otherwise they would risk it being overrun.
The rewards in the end will depend on how many shroomies the players in total managed to eradicate from each stronghold! Eradicating all of the shroomies from all the strongholds will naturally yield the greatest of rewards.

STRONGHOLDS
THE TOWN - CLEARED!
1.10-16.10The shroomies just recently arrived to the town, and thus their numbers are the most minimal here. Since there are a lot of people to save, side prompts are most common here and thus the best way to stack items that you get for helping the people for the future.
2nd stronghold
THE OUTSKIRTS - CLEARED!
17.10-30.10The outskirts of the town consist of many varying areas - there's lakes, fields, grasslands, and even the root of the mountains. There's considerably more shroomies, and little fewer people to save.
3rd stronghold
THE FOREST - CLEARED!
1.11-16.11The thick forest where the shroomies first appeared from, and thus people assume it to be their origin. Your job is to eradicate the last of them and get to the core of the problem. The shroomies are plenty and people are scarce.
The Mother - DEFEATED!
17.11-23.11Deep in the forest was found a heavily breathing aquatic Kukuri. "Life," you heard someone say. "Life is behind this. She desires to eradicate the kukuris, blinded by her anger. We must put a stop to this." The heavily breathing Mother just stares at you, it's numerous mouths gasping for air. It then rises it's head, and let's out a rhaspy roar - and all the remaining shroomies appeared from within the trees. Ending it's suffering would be merciful, but the Mother is not planning to go down without a fight.
DEFENDING THE STRONGHOLDS

You defend a stronghold by either drawing a picture or writing a literature piece. In each picture you decide a role for your Kukuri, which will affect how your picture either helps eradicating the shroomies or helps other people in doing so!
WITH MOTHER YOU CAN PARTICIPATE BY EITHER DRAWING YOUR KUKURI FIGHTING THE MOTHER HERSELF, OR BY DRAWING YOUR KUKURIS FIGHTING NORMAL SHROOMIES!
Fighting Mother puts most damage in, but likewise she does more damage than anyone.
You can only perform one role per picture/story.
Only 3 kukus in maximum in the picture can perform the role and gain it's benefits!
You get +1FP event points for every pic you do for every kuku participating in a role!
A WARRIOR:
A Kukuri assuming the role of a warrior fights and defeats the shroomies directly. As such they are also the most susceptible to damage.A warrior benefits largely from Attack, and slightly from Speed stats.
Warrior requirements in the picture: The Kukuri must be shown fighting the shroomies in one way or another.
Strength in numbers: Portraying other Kukuris in the role of a warrior in the picture will boost the results in the picture. The Kukuris portrayed as warriors will also be eligible for the rewards in the end.
A DEFENDER:
A Kukuri assuming the role of a defender helps prevent damage for the Kukuris in one to five submissions after it, depending on how well the Kukuri succeeded in their defending. They also minimize the chance of new shroomies arriving, making defeating them more successful.A defender benefits largely from Defense, and slightly from Attack.
Defender requirements in the picture: You must portray your Kukuri protecting someone, be it either another Kukuri, their handler, or poor villagers who haven't managed to escape yet.
Strength in numbers: Portraying other Kukuris in the role of a defender in the picture will boost the results in the picture. The Kukuris portrayed as the defenders will also be eligible for the rewards in the end.
A MEDIC:
A Kukuri in the role of a medic has a very specific task. Instead of working actively in the battles, a Kukuri doing medical duties will heal the Kukuri it's portrayed with. While this heal isn't as strong as items found from the fields, it gives a helping hand to those choosing to actively participate in fighting.A medic benefits largely from Speed, and slightly from Defense.
Medic requirements in the picture: Both the medic Kukuri and the wounded Kukuri must fill the image requirements. You can either portray your medic tending to the wounds, bringing supplies, or dragging their fallen comrade away from the battlefield. There must be 1 or more medics per healed kukuri!
Human knowledge: Portraying a handler doing medical duties with the Kukuri will give a boost to the amount of healing done.
CONTAMINATED KUKURI
It seems that whatever it is that is controlling these creatures is aiming for the Kukuris. A healthy Kukuri is practically immune to contamination, but the more damage it has the more likely it is to become contaminated.
A contaminated Kukuri has it's import image altered to reflect it's new mushroom infestation. A contaminated Kukuri cannot breed or participate in any activities including handlers, and it gives +5 to attack and -5 to defense to the kukuris stats.
A contaminated kukuri can still fight in the frays, but they cannot act as medics. Likewise medics cannot heal them due to their unpredictability, and thus can only be healed with healing items. With them there's also increased chance that the number of shroomies increases in the stronghold.
There's an alchemist in the battlefields, and triggering and finishing her prompt will grant you "fungi antidote," which will reverse the contamination and bring your Kukuri back to full health.
HOW MUTATIONS AFFECT THE PERFORMING KUKURI
Some mutations affect how your Kukuri performs in the fields, and this is how:
Double horns: Increase in damage
Sphynx: Decrease in defense
Albino: Slight decrease in defense
Saber/Tusks: Increase in damage
Hornless: Decrease in damage
(untrained) Blind/deaf/eyeless: More likely to get injuries, decrease in defense
Miniature: Half the health, slight decrease in damage, decrease in defense
Scales: Increase in defense
Crippled: Decrease in damage, Decrease in defense, more likely to get injuries
Amputated: Decrease in damage
Orthrus: Increase in damage, more likely to get injuries
REWARDS
The townspeople have all agreed to join together in collecting rewards for everyone who has helped them defend against the shroom invasion - however, for any shroomie that is left in their stronghold at the end of their time span, they will have to sacrifice time and resources for finishing the job, which means less resources to you. Fight together to eradicate all the shroomies from the strongholds!
On top of the rewards, at the end of the event kukuris are awarded medals for their hard work, and if they fill the requirements for the medal it can be portrayed in their award wall!
