ITEM GUIDES
Have you lost the PSD of your import, but still want to add items or backgrounds on your kukuri? Don't worry, we have made a handy guide to cover that problem too!
Making an import PSD out of a PNGWe've all had it happen - either we bought a Kuku, our computer exploded or we just forgot to save, we've lost our import PSD and now we need it back for a reason or another. We could make a new import, but it might not be approved for not being close enough, or we really liked the old one. Are we completely lost now?The answer is no, because I'm going to teach you how to make an import PSD out of a PNG. On my off hours I can also make a man out of you. STEP 1. This is what I shall be working with - a single PNG of Miasma. This trick will work on any program that allows you to clip layers , but as I only know SAI and Photoshop, I will be ...
SCROLL OF ALTERATION
This scroll allows small changes on existing imports. With it you can slightly alter base color or marking colors, clean up marking borders or move kukuri from Legacy import to new import lines.
Scroll of alteration doesn't modify lines.
- It can't be used to add new markings or minimal black and white markings. New markings can be added/extended with dyes and minimal black and white can be edited with Enchanted inkwell.
- Alteration scroll can be used for tidying up the import, while keeping the markings ultimately same (as in the idea of Kukuri should not be changed).
- Scroll of Alteration can be used for updating markings to the current rules/standards, but markings can also be kept same as they were.
- Updating lineart color, re-shading mouth or scars and re-doing eyes is free, thus it doesn't require usage of this scroll. However, changing pupil shape from round to slit or vice versa requires a scroll. Changing eye or mouth color completely requires Scroll of Rebirth or Minor Scroll of Rebirth
- Ears and horns are considered free area, and changes in them are looked more leniently - however drastic changes like red ears turning to white are still not allowed.- Re-drawing scars is free and not require this scroll! They can not be removed without Suture Kit.
SCROLL OF MODIFICATION
The most versatile scroll when it comes to making your kukuri unique. With this scroll you're allowed to edit import's original lines up to 50% of the lines (or 75% with crippled mutation present)! So anything from adding little tiny tufts of hair here and there to completely redoing kukuri's tail to be more fluffy is possible!
However, no matter how many scroll you might want to use, you can't edit more than 50% of the lines of the whole import. If your work is just on the border of 50%, the final word is on admin's side.
Scroll of Modification can be used at any rank.

Scroll of Modification can be used at any rank.
- You can add natural features that did not previously exist on the Kukuri, as in tufts of fur, fat, drool, making them skinnier, clipped ears, changing expression/eye shape, slightly altering the horns and their position et cetera. That being said, features that are not part of original kukuri anatomy (extra eyes, extra horns, spikes, limbs, wings, etc.) can not be added.
- Be careful when modding horns and ears! If they resemble too much of some other type (example: floppy ears are modded too long, resembling droop ears), it will not be accepted!
- Horn size can be made three times bigger than the original horn, but with some horn types (for example short) one must be careful not to make it resemble other horn type. Branched horns (deer, moose) can be made much bigger with moderation in mind. Horns can also be made half as small as the original!
- You can not change colors with this scroll, and the markings around the edited area should stay relatively same.
- You can't add anything that is not in the original lines, so for example adding golden tooth would require an accessory blueprint.
- Kukuri can have something obscuring the eyes, like helmet or bangs, and it can have closed mouth. However if the original import is missing, the pups can't inherit the parent's mouth color!
- If your edit is something that does not modify the body and is inheritably human made, for example braiding a silken tail or satin ruffle, you can also use accessory scroll. You don't need accessory scroll to add tiny items that would normally go unnoticed.
More scales and spikes can be added to the import with a Scroll of Modification, but only if a kukuri already has scales or spikes mutation! Scales can't hide more than 50% of the kukuri and shouldn't be clustered to hide the whole 50 % area. Scales can be slightly spiked, but too much lift from the skin will result in modification being declined. If scales hide markings under them, they should duplicate the markings.
- Scroll of Modification can't be used to amputate a Kukuri. However, it can remove feathers! You can completely remove them from 1-2 places, leave coverts on one point and one point must always be left untouched. Feathers removed with Scroll of Modification can be grown back.- Edited kukuris should not resemble too clearly other animals and their snout has a beak that shouldn't be edited into a mammalian muzzle. Kukuris also can't have closed eyes in the import edits.
EXAMPLES OF KUKURI WITH MODIFICATIONS
SCROLL OF REBIRTH
Are you tired of how your kukuri looks? Or did you buy import that has good genes but they're not done like you like it? With this scroll you can completely re-do an existing import! You can't add new markings or traits on kukuri, but you can erase its design and do it all over again. As long as the kukuris has no Basic Trust Training done, it can be rebirthed!
Rebirthing is done in Design approval! You can't apply anything else than rebirth scrolls and background set when rebirthing a kukuri!
- This scroll can affect everything on import; markings, free areas, minimal white & black, base coat, eyes, mouth and feathers.
- All items applied on the old import will be removed and returned back to bank. If you wish to apply them back, as new or old, you must do it so in import updates after the rebirth! Scars and background are the only thing NOT removed.
- When updating the kukuri, all markings and base coat must be acceptable on current design rules. Keeping the possible illegal thing accepted earlier is unfortunately not possible.

- If kukuri has Blind/Deaf training, Retrieval training or Heavy load training, it can be rebirthed! However, the kukuri will lose these trainings and will require you to finish them again.
- Rebirthed kukuri will be marked as rebirthed, so its old design can be still used in training as guardian. However, it will still loose all FP and ranks it might have before rebirth.
- Rebirthed Kukuris can be moved between the new lines and the Legacy import. If said kukuri is moved from Legacy to new import, it can be done without extra cost. But in the other way around you need Legacy import item in your bank.- Scars/amputation can't be removed in rebirthing progress! You can't apply any more scars into new design either, they must be done after the rebirth in import updates!
- All items applied on the old import will be removed and returned back to bank. If you wish to apply them back, as new or old, you must do it so in import updates after the rebirth! Scars and background are the only thing NOT removed.

MINOR SCROLL OF REBIRTH
Sometimes there is just one thing wrong with the design, but Scroll of Rebirth is way too pricy to be used for eyes or mouth. However, with the Minor Scroll of Rebirth you're able to completely re-do one marking, eyes or mouth! This scroll can be used even if the kukuri has Basic Trust Training and it will not lose its rank!
Rebirthing is done in Design approval! You can't apply anything else than rebirth scrolls and background set when rebirthing a kukuri!
Rebirthing is done in Design approval! You can't apply anything else than rebirth scrolls and background set when rebirthing a kukuri!
- No matter the training or rank, this scroll can be used and the kukuri keeps its rank and FP it has collected so far.
- If kukuri has modification or items on its import, it doesn't lose them during the minor rebirthing.
- That being said, this scroll can not be used to move kukuri from old lineart to new ones. It also can not be used to edit minimal white or black, free areas, ears, horns or feathers (unless marking edited touches them)
ACCESSORY BLUEPRINTS
Accessories are the most free item to use, so you can make your Kukuri wear little trinkets, garlands, hold a teddy bear, anything your imagination gives! Mirroring items to other side is free, as long as the mirrored item is identical. The items don't need to be on the kukuri, but can be added on the background as well!
- Small accessory blueprint allows all kind of collars, as long it is not massive! It should fit inside the small accessory area, but can go slightly over the lines.
- Adding pets, animals etc. is not possible with accessory blueprint (Scroll of Companions allows this).
- Adding copyrighted brand items (for example pokemon balls) is not allowed.- You are allowed slightly edit the lineart to make the item fit better with no Scroll of Modification required. However, it is judged based on if the item would realistically do it (for example a feather on top of the kukuri's head won't make ears flop under its weight).
- These blueprints can not remove feathers, scars or amputate limbs.
Below are shown the maximum size of a small accessory blueprint and large accessory blueprint.

EXAMPLES OF KUKURI WITH ACCESSORIES
DYES
Dyes can be used to add unique markings on kukuris, with all possible color ranges. We have made a separated dye guide that will go through the usage more in detail.
ENCHANTED INKWELL
This little funny bottle can be used to either remove, or add minimal white and black markings! These markings can be added only to areas that allow minimal colors and there's no limit how much you can add or remove.
Also the Enchanted inkwell is used, when making any kind of edition to minimal black or white, including the eye accents. It can not apply any other color and can not be used on free areas, only for minimal white and black range.
SCARPACKS
Kukuris can get injured! Both small and large scars can be acquired from activities, failed breedings or you can earn packs from events as reward.
To heal an injured kukuri, visit this page: Injuries and illnesses
To heal an injured kukuri, visit this page: Injuries and illnesses
- Small scar is enough to amputate or scar ears, amputate fingers, toes or tongue or blind the kukuri (one for each eye). Kukuri can be blinded without scarpack but can't then leave visible scar on it. Blinding kukuri with scarpack counts as acquired mutation, so your kukuri will acquire a -1 in 2 random stats, and Mutations: BLIND (acquired) added to the import info.
- Large scars must be a LEAST size of the largest small scar, but can go as big as pictured.
- Large scarpack can be used to amputate limbs (arms, legs, tail) once per kukuri. Kukuri's jaws or snouts can't be amputated. If amputating anything else than legs, a prosthetic is free to be applied if applied same time as amputating the limb. Legs always require a prosthetic.- Large scarpack can be used to break limbs (arms, legs, tail, wings) once per kukuri. It can't stack with amputation and can't affect neck, jaws or spine. It allows kukuri be edited to appear having badly healed bones, making them more crooked than they normally would be.
- Large scarpack can be used to remove feathers! However, the kukuri should always have one point with coverts left intact and one with untouhched feathers.
- Feathers removed with scarpacks and any other scars can be removed using Suture Kit. However, it can't return amputated limbs.
SCAR COLORS
All scars can follow these natural colors (Does not have to be exact):
Alternatively, small scars can also appear to look close to their base color. Note that the scar must be noticeably lighter or darker and more de-saturated than the base color. You are still allowed to use the natural colored scars if you so desire.
ARMOR BLUEPRINTS
Is your kukuri a fighter or does it need extra protection? Various blueprints have been created to allow you to armor kukuri up! All armors can fully cover the kukuri and materials used is depending from the blueprint.
- Leather armor blueprint is used to create armor mostly from leather. It can have small parts of iron or other materials, but should be mostly made from strong leather or hide.
- Iron armor blueprint gives kukuri protection made from metal. It can have small parts of hide or leather, but should be mostly made from iron.
- Elemental armor blueprint is rarest and hardest armor to obtain, but provides great protection and style for the kukuri. Elemental armor can be made from iron or leather, and it can also hold powers of element within in, such as fire, ice, lightning etc. Only one element can be used in the armor.- All armors should cover at least 25% of the kukuri to be counted as armor!
- Elemental armor must be an armor, since it wields the magic, not the kukuri. The armor doesn't give the kukuri itself power to use any kind of magic tricks, so it still has to be depicted on kukuri if one wishes to use magic in their entries (unless kukuri has magic training matching the armor completed).
Armors allow you to add extra skill points on kukuri and will give bonuses in the Coliseum!

SCROLL OF COMPANIONS
Is your kukuri a fan of snakes or birds? Or any kind of animal actually? Well, here is the scroll just for them! Scroll of Companions allows you to add animal friends on the import to accompany your kukuri in their journey.
- The animal must be smaller than the kukuri, and can't hide more than 5% from the import. However, it can sit on top of the kukuri, be in the air or walk on the ground.
- You're allowed to use group familiars, as long as you provide custom linework for them. The kukuri doesn't need to have the familiar applied.
- One scroll can apply one animal and you can have max of 3 animals on the import. However, adding clusters of really small animals is possible with one scroll, such as beetles, butterflies, mice or chicks.- All armors should cover at least 25% of the kukuri to be counted as armor!
- The scroll can not be used to add copyrighted creatures, anthros, other kukuris, humanoid characters or other ARPG characters to the import.

SQUEAKY CLEAN SPONGE
Tired of your kukuri's look? Or is there edits you'd rather use on someone else? This sponge is way magical, it can touch the center of the kukuri just fine, despite smelling like an ordinary lemon soap.
The Sponge can be used to remove modifications and dye from the import. It can also return back feathers which have been removed with Scroll of Modification.
It can not remove scars or amputation and using it doesn't return the items to your bank account. It's used for a fresh new start!
