I really like this one. It stands out immediately. The curves and the lines of the legs carry the eyes among the entire photo. The textures of the socks and the the soft skin are really interesting to look at as well, they contrast quite nicely. I would suggest perhaps more lights and darks to really bring out areas in the pictures. But besides the lighting, I love it!
I know, but it is not really important. For me it is lovely that the picture shows a beautiful moment in everyday life. I appreciate these moments very much, especialy when captured like this.
The square format definitely looks better and you may have noticed I am a square format fan , it is the traditional photo format but it is also closer to how our eyes see things .
Yea I was kinda sure you will prefer square. Fun fact: her photo is about 50% red, 25% blue, 25% green as far as I can measure. Mine is 50% blue, 50% green, red totally thrown away from final image.
Both are B&W of course. It's just the way you mix RGB to get your grays. Her is emulating BW film, maybe slightly more sensitive to red. I emulate red filtered out. That's all.
No no no, red filter passes red, filtering out greens and blues. I did exactly opposite I wanted less contrast here, to be honest. I wanted softer, calmer look.
good job!
Great girl, you know
You know, she wasn't really nude.
Have fun!

It is a beautiful photo , would look even better in print
Filtering out red on film will give more contrast most times , I nearly always use a red filter when shooting out doors
Comparing these two - I guess I got it.
And I think I'll go to bed soon
