I am a thirty-something, gluten-intolerant ex-military wife, college student, and mother, named after bread. I have a passion for art of all kinds, but find myself especially drawn to and moved by Impressionism/Post-Impressionism, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Synthpop music. There is a scientist in me as well and I am drawn to Science Thrillers, turn-of-the-century science fiction, and Steampunk. I have a romantic lurking in the closet, too, and my guilty pleasures include steamy paranormal romance novels and corsets. :)

I think that this world should not be a black and white world ; therefore, I try to infuse as much colour into it as possible at every opportunity! I consider myself a techno-hippie. I also believe that vampires should NEVER sparkle and colour and favourite should ALWAYS be spelled with a "u" in them - even if it's "wrong".
