Luna Lovegood is one of my favorite characters from the Potterverse, so I hope she gets a chance to take center stage at some point in Yudkowsky's version. Hitherto now, she's been relaxing in a back-stage, supporting role - instigating chaos, yet never getting involved in it (being too young to enter Hogwarts yet is probably helping in that regard
).

She looks too ridiculous for Luna Lovegood, if there is such a thing.
But then I'm kinda biased toward the pretty though "flighty" (if that's the word) version in the movies.
