Now, this one is in fact one of the main characters of one of my stories. He is ... complicated. But true of heart. And that is what matters.
This piece was drawn with various pens on paper, and was then scanned and worked further on in Photoshop where I added my own textures and worked further on the light and colours.

To me, if you feel like drawing a million feathers and many birds, keep going at it. That feeling that gets you drawing is good.
I'm kinda curious what your story is about? There are many legends on ravens, especially in Native American folklore.
This is drawn in a very interesting way, but adding on your art on a computer is pretty easy. Maybe putting more detail and darker shades on the tree and mountains would give it a deeper feel. But the bird and sketchy sky fits everything as a whole well.
Are you writing the story too ?
Yes, I write! I have always loved to create stories and write them down. I sortof completed my first novel when I was sixteen, though I realize now it does need some heavy polishing. But right now I am focusing on mainly two other stories which I try to convey in a way which captures the right athmospheres for them. Athmosphere is always my main focus, in art and in writing.
and interpersonal relations.
For now I like to keep the stories to myself. There is something horribly painful about showing your most personal creations to the public. I have noticed it with my artwork but learnt how to deal with it, but my stories are so much greater. My whole being is there.
... I am considering perhaps making my own company/publishing house one day, though, and perhaps then publish my stories the way I like and have full control. I am studying Economics, so I plan to use what I learn to the max!
