Stolen from CodyTheHusky 1. Your fursona!Your character that represents you!
Hunter at first started out as a character I used to pretend to be when I was little with friends. He became an actual character online back before I knew how to digitize or color any of my drawings, so I did renders of Balto of him instead (shudders). He's been through a very bumpy road as far as design and other things, but my fursona will never change! He first started out with neon colors and as a male, then I grew older and people made me feel pressured/forced to make my fursona into a female since that was my assigned gender at birth... So he became my "malesona" instead since I refused to get rid of him & had the most connection/attachment to him. Then eventually I came to understand my true gender identity and no longer am afraid of what other people think of me online about it, so he is male once more and will stay that way. And I did try to shift fursonas years and years ago, but they never stuck and I always came back to this guy. c:2. Your 'Guardian Angel' You protect yourself through them, vent through them etc, they keep you strong.
You probably have a deep emotional connection with this character.
That would probably be Hunter again, for the reasons listed above. I'm very attached to him since he's been there since I was very very young, and he was my first ever "character" before I even realized what OC's were or discovered you could bring them to life through art!
Strike could also fit this description, as although he is newer I am deeply emotionally attached to him as well and have used him to vent in the past.
3. Your sunshine!A character that never fails to make you smile. Maybe they have bright colors.
or maybe they are very cute. A character who's your own personal sun.
He just makes me happy whenever I draw him because he's eternally a puppy in my head personality wise (and a lot of times physical appearance wise as well because of this). I don't ever feel like drawing him in a an angry mood or in a sad picture, only happy ones or cuddly ones.
4. The odd oneThe odd ball character you're not sure why you have, but you treasure them deeply. Perhaps because they're just so weird?
Originally got these three designs all from Squiggy-Adoptables
and didn't really know what I planned on doing with them all cause I couldn't come up with a story for any of them when it hit me of "what if I made them all the same character somehow" and his bio was born xD I don't draw him/them as much as I would like to but he's definitely loved!5. Sentimental Value! Okay, now who has the most sentimental value? Maybe a character you received from a friend, or who you have fond memories of. Perhaps they're very old?
Of the characters I still have, I'd have to say Hunter or Strike. Strike isn't very old (I created him around 2013-14), but he has many many fond memories attached to him, particularly of roleplays or chats with SaskedieJagerin
, and TopHat-Queen
and I grew very emotionally attached to him as a character as well. 6. The fancy one!Your flashiest character! Probably the prettiest one or the one with the most fancy design.
Hahhahaa get it bc he's from a digital/computer world so "flashy" (flash drive?? fksdjblkcx)
Okay but for real, I'd had this character concept in my head for an eternity but could not for the life of me figure out a design that would fit what I envisioned for him until onlyhalfpigeon
was selling designs and this was one of them and it just clicked for me. And plus Trey is very attention-starved so his personality is technically flashy too xD7. The rare one!
'The rarity' How about a character you're so surprised you actually managed to get. You probably won't be letting go of them anytime soon!
THIS DUDE. I WAS OBSESSED WITH HIM SINCE 2015 AND I'M STILL IN SHOCK I MANAGED TO GRAB HIM. I was actually the second person to offer to buy him, and had to hope that the first person who offered fell through and I waited three weeks BUT HE'S MINE NOW and I am never letting go of him ever.8. Weird AttachmentEver get an adopt on a whim and then grown very attached? That's this place!
At first when I got him I wasn't sure what I was going to do with him story wise, but I had to have him bc his design was literally perfect
to me (and I am a sucker for bandaged characters oops). Then I was inspired to name him after Attack on Titan which I had been getting into at the time and he just spiraled from there. He's one of my favorite characters of mine now and is connected to a lot of my others as well!9. The Fandom characterYou heard me! Everyone's got one, fork them over!
...Are you sure you want all of them? Hahahaha (a lot of these still need proper references so bear with me here)
Some were meant to be my versions of the actual characters from the shows/movies. Others were concepts that were originally inspired by certain shows/movies but not meant to be the actual character(s).
Once Upon A Time (Hook, Robin, Regina, & Emma)
by many different shows/movies, including Jefferson from Once Upon A Time, Gambit from Marvel, Joker from DC, etc.
The Walking Dead (Michonne, Rick)
by Tron and Tron Legacy and Cyclops from Marvel
Jack from Rise of the Guardians and Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon
by DC's Arrow
by Doctor Who10. The newbieOkay who just joined your family of characters? Let's see them!
Got him from ohhhdani
and I'm in love <3 Especially since I'm part Irish, so St. Patrick's Day and clovers & all that means a lot to me and this guy just stuck out to me. Super excited to draw him myself at some point!
