Nature vs Man

When thinking of how to approach this theme, I realized that the concept of evil is difficult to symbolize. Personally, the slow destruction of nature caused by our own willful ignorance is inexcusable and as close to evil as I can imagine.

I chose a simple idea - a factory dumping toxic waste on one side, and nature (symbolized by the female figure) healing the now poisoned earth on the other. There is no indication as to which side shall win.

this is classic..... seeing the thumbnail and small view doesn't do this justice, there is so much intricacies, I really like how this turned out and am envious that I am not this good! heh
