DARK REVEALINGS "Jesus, Isabelle, put the fucking cookie down."
Katherine slapped the gingersnap out of her sister’s hand before it could reach her mouth. The biscuit shattered against the diner’s greasy linoleum floor. Isabelle blinked, slow and unbothered, her dark violet-red hair falling into her face like a curtain. "It’s the third one," Katherine hissed, leaning across the sticky table. "You know what happens."
Isabelle’s fingers twitched toward the crumbs scattered near her boots, her pupils dilated just enough to betray the hunger beneath her casual shrug.
