Goodness! I haven't updated the journal since Lent. Have to change that since the season has changed. Life changed a lot since the transition to stay at home. Luckily, I'm still working my job full-time so I have stability there. I have been healthy...except for weight gain and depression. But all these things cycle around in my life so pretty normal all things considered. (And being an introvert, I am having a GREAT time in quarantine.)
I have also become OBSESSED with my 3D printer. It has inspired MANY new projects and possibilities for cosplay.
Right now I'm working on printing parts for a Princess Zelda cosplay and Linkle cosplay. I've printed out a Master Sword, Lotor's Sword, a couple daggers, a couple ocarinas (which do work!), Linkle's Compass, a shekiah slate phone case, a dinosaur skull and an amiibo stand.
I also made some Tuskan Raider parts for a friend.
My 3d printing plans are so far:
Finish printing Princess Zelda's armor and re-print her sword since...I
So, I'm really sorry if this is out of nowhere, but I found your page by chance.... Looking up Saiyuki Artwork, and found one of our older pieces. Specifically the Son Goku as a cat.
But anyway, I don't know if this means anything but I remember seeing your work as a child, I was an anime fan back in my childhood and I don't know if it was your web page or someone else reposting your stuff...
But That is beside the point, the images were a bunch of anime characters as cats...
I remember the page very well and am certain it was your page I was. The name in the corner for the signature, and just the style as well.
I'm sitting here kind of floored. Because I was 11 or so at the time... and I'm in my mid 25 now.
So I hope this wasn't weird to hear. But I'm very happy I was able to chance upon the person who made the very very fanart I ever saw and admired as a kid.
Hi hello! And pardon the rambling this sounds odd. Just some things no matter how little, can stay with you for a long time.
