I used to love Deviantart. I used to check it religiously. I used to add things to my gallery every week, and used to work with new models almost as frequently. I just deleted all of my deviations and won't be checking back here. Sorry. But that was then, this is now, and I'm much happier with the life I've chosen (save for the one project I never got to finish, but that's minor in the grand scheme of things). So I've been promoted and transferred, and now I'm in the "Michiana" area. Until December, I'm unfortunately a bachelor, after that the fiancee will join me here (have to sell yet another house). So I'm thinking I'll get out and do more nature photography. I still have the one series of people I want to shoot, but I don't really have the time to find any models here, and I don't necessarily have the greatest studio space, either. I think I'll get out and explore and look for some good landscape locations. Anyone from the area between Chicago and Grand Rapids who can give me some cool location ideas? So things in my life have changed quite dramatically in the last year, which is why I've been lax in my new postings and updates. I met a wonderful woman and we started dating a year ago. Now we're engaged and planning a 2009 wedding.
