My idea of "witches" does not involve Satanism or any modern Neo-Pagan religions such as Wicca. To me, witches are a particular species of humanity. This is similar to the belief among the Azande of north Central Africa, that an inherited organ allows potential unconscious use of magic. However, this particular organ isn't found near the liver as stated in the Azande belief, but rather in the brain.
