This is a $40 commission for
, who was awesome enough to let me be creative with it 8) He asked "draw a dragon in a complex background". So here is the result of that.Its design is based on a coral reef and the fish you'd find in it. I was inspired by the colourful patterns of reef fish, and gave it coral horns X3 Dont have a name for it, other than reef dragon. it's face is slightly scaley, but the rest of it's body is smooth like a dolphin. Also it went fishing 8B I think this is the first time i've ever drawn blood.
I spent way too much time on this
but i really wanted to make sure I got everything right, or as good as i can get it. I probably should have charged more for something like this, but since it'll be portfolio work as well It's worth the time and effort. 8) A lot of this was new to me, I do have to try more things like this. Critiques are appreciated! Particularly on shadows and lighting, i need to improve with that 8)

" title="epiclaplz"/>) not to bad on the blood. fishies dont give off too much so i think thats a good amout for claws holding a fish ^^ i would sugest making it more red though, blood is a deep red and not so much orange ^_^
