Hairy Pedestal by mmiller8 Hairy Pedestal by mmiller8
--This image has exceeded its one week Photoshop limit and has been ejected.--

School has been taking up too much of my time. I couldn't work on this as much as I wanted to.

Since i'm not in a Drawing and Painting class this semester I am curing my withdrawl by doing a photoshop 'sketchbook' every week. This is the second one; I count King and Queen to be the first since I finished it up as a Christmas present to my sanity.

I am very happy with this. It came from a Sculpture project i'm (supposed to be) doing which involves lots of blind contour line drawings.

Enjoy.

beatiful, I live those flowers and the color tones. the girl seems to not have enough hair on the back of her head though.
if this is photoshopped, i'll have to point out and say that its in the wrong category; it should go under digital art...or else it might get deleted.

Awesome concept... the texture reminds me of a sand sculpture or perhaps carved wood...

Very interesting. Yello is a hellish color to try and shade with in computer programs :bleh: Have fun making the sculpture, the head is going to be fuuun to balance *winces from similar experience* Overal it's very nice, and I like the color of the blue on the yellow. I espcially like how the flowers are done, nice piece :)

It does look very sculpture-like, and I like that. I don't know anything about art, really, but I like the lines and colors you used in this and the way it sits in the air. On the page. Whatever it's sitting on. *smile*

I love the blue flowers, and the tendrils of hair which seem to be supporting a very subtle profile.
