Do you know what time it is??? IT IS TIME.... for the long awaited next episode of Surprise MMD Feature! Let me give you a little rundown for those unfamiliar....In this journal post, I feature 10 different MMD renders from 10 different deviants that I love and explain why I like it! It's a great way to showcase some of the love and hardwork that goes into these renders, and show others the beauty of MMD, and maybe find a new deviant to watch! And as always, the deviants in questions have NO IDEA they are being featured, so it'll pop up as a lovely surprise in their notifications!This is the first time posting a new episode since 2017.... wow, it's been a few years, huh? But I always love to shower fellow MMD'ers with sunshine, and now with the site's, ummm.... less than convenient navigational and other changes.... it's not as easy to find renders like it used to be... so I hope you enjoy my 10 picks, and consider giving these lovelies a comment or even a +watch!Without further ado, let us begin!Upper Moon Three by @ichsanxiu ,It may just be a "simple" standing pose, but there is a lot in his stance! The way his eyes stare at you... challenging you... the embers falling around him.... you really feel like Akaza is challenging your strength against his, daring you to engage him! I also love the shader used here!Happy Children's Day by @aptalkiz ,This image is so simple, yet so full of happiness! I love seeing all the Cryptonloids in a circle like that, holding hands, with varying degrees of happy expressions upon their faces! The image really does make you feel nostalgic, like a kid again, and part of that charm was the beautiful use of Animasa models! I love the flowers in the center, a nice touch!Lost Message by @AustriaNoJetto ,This image feels like it was screencapped from a music video! I adore the lighting and blue effects, the blue and teal coloring, Miku's pose... you really feel like she is singing deep feelings from her heart!School Love by @luvanddeathinall ,This is such a fascinating rarepair, and I love how the couples look mirrored! It's such a simple, but cute image, showing two couples walking through cherry blossoms treees at school, but it captures every bit of loveliness from such a moment!Buying Groceries by @ArnauLink ,Shopping is quite a mundane task, yet images like these are among some of my favorites. I love the dull coloring to make everything fit in the store's very wooden interior, although Kaito and Meiko are the focus, I love how you see other customers in the background which makes the store and image feel more alive! It is a delight to look at.Glass Like by @LiseMMD ,Simple, yet elegant! I love the use of blur effect to make Rin the main focus, her gentle expression, and the particles and glow coming from her hand. It truly feels fantastical!Rainbow Connection by @MeiMouse ,I adore rain, but I adore rainbows after the rain even more! Seeing the rain still fall as we see Miku's back turned, looking at the rainbow in the distance is such a comforting sight!MME Contest - A morning Rainbow by @LaurenSunny ,Simple but funny! I love Rin's expression and how Miku is laughing! The shaders used here make the image pop and feel like a screenshot rather than a still frame, and the lighting here is absolutely GORGEOUS!Gal Pals by @whiteykids ,Just setting the two of them walk side by side in conversation with a drink in their hand really helps you to appreciate those simple moments with friends. I can almost hear the faint sound of cars passing and their little chit chat as their heels click on the ground!Hit It, Hiyama! by @ImaginativeMortal ,I love his aggressive expression and epic pose! He's ready to rock out and use his powerhouse vocals! I almost feel like I am watching a concert about to unfold!And there you have it.... 10 renders I adore and why I like them!
