Hey there! For Roseluck, I think that the best colors for her would be Yellow for her body, and Paris Pink and Wine for her hair. Wine is not an exact match for the dark parts in her hair, but it is probably the closest match you can get. If you want a more detailed explanation for these color choices, you can go to this page: mlpplushies.deviantart.com/jou… and if you scroll about 12 comments down, you'll come to the discussion about Roseluck's colors.

Hope that helps! :)
Yep, it sounds like you have it exactly right! I know it sounds complicated, but in reality, once you physically have the pattern pieces cut out and you start sewing them, you will easily be able to tell how everything is supposed to come together.

Anyway, good luck! I hope your project turns out well! :)
MLP Plushie Tutorial: Attaching Manes and Tails
I will definitely try to make a tutorial about this in the future, but in the meantime, I drew a little diagram just so you can visualize it better... oi43.tinypic.com/adnvvn.jpg

First of all, when you're making the forelock pattern, it's best to have the horn already positioned and attached/sewed to the pony's head. Then just use paper or paper towels or something and lay it on the head, cutting out space for the horn. Then cut out the rest of the pattern/shape.

Basically, all you really have to do is cut out two forelock pieces, with circles cut out of them as shown in the image. Then you sew the outer edges of the two pieces together as you usually would (inside out). After you turn it right side out, you'll have a nice closed forelock piece, except for the big gap where you cut out the circle. At this point, all you need to do is ladder stitch (here's a good tutorial showing how to do it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHWD1q... the edges of the inside of that circle, going all the way around. So really, you're just ladder stitching something kind of like the inside hole of a doughnut. Then you can simply slip the horn right through the hole, and if you want, you can sew the edges of the hole to the sides of the horn to make sure that the forelock won't ride up the horn, and that it will stay flat against the head.

Anyway, hope that helps a little bit! And don't worry about it looking goofy - the ladder stitching part can be tricky, but once it's up against the horn, it will be difficult to notice any mistakes. :)

No, I am so sorry, because of the late reply! It's been like two and a half weeks D: Sorry about that, I've just been incredibly busy and have not had time to check my messages on here.

Anyway, Pinkamena's colors are kind of hard to match, but out of all the colors, I would say Dusty Rose would be best for the body, and Raspberry for the mane and tail. They aren't perfect, because they need to have a slightly more bluish tint, but I think that they would probably work the best. :)

Unfortunately they probably will be in the $100 range, just because of all the work that goes into each one. I can't give you a specific price yet, because I haven't quite worked them out yet, but most of my plushies have sold for 100+... Sorry about that!

But thank you for the interest :)
