Blazing Rescue-Chapter 8

Blazing Rescue Chapter 5
Blaze raced home and gathered all the supplies he would need for the journey; food, water, gas, and a picture of his parents.
AJ packed himself an overnight bag and loaded the supplies Blaze packed into his trunk.
Blaze packed his own overnight bag. In it he put his retainer, his toothbrush, his nightcap, his teddy bear Sir Smokey, toothpaste, dental floss, and a mirror.
AJ hopped into Blaze's driver's seat and the best friends set off.
Their first stop was the skatepark where Darington lived.
Blaze honked his horn to let the stuntman know that he was coming.
Darington looked up from the book he was reading to greet Blaze.
"Blaze! AJ! Going camping?" Darington asked.
"I wish, Darington. Some bandits robbed Clive's bakery and they took my parents too!" Blaze explained.
Darington gasped and dropped the book he was reading. It was one thing to rob a bakery, but abduction? That's going WAY too far.
"I know. Will you help us find Phoenix and Ember, Darington?" AJ asked.

Blazing Rescue Chapter 4
After a quick drink of water, Blaze decided to go to each of his friends' pits to make sure they were ok.
Blaze arrived at Stripes' pit. The tiger truck was in his tree taking a nap.
Blaze tiptoed past Stripes' pit and over to Starla's pit.
Starla was having a glass of water when she noticed Blaze approaching her.
"Howdy, there, Blaze." Starla greeted.
"Hi, Starla. When I got angry back there, I didn't scare anyone, did I?" Blaze asked.
"No, I don't think so. They might've been more shocked than anything cause of how nice you are. Darington got a little concerned, though." Starla answered.
"I'll go tell him I'm ok. Thanks, Starla!" Blaze responded.
Blaze could've sworn he'd heard sniffling as he drove over to Darington's pit. But why would he be crying? Was it Blaze's fault?!
Blaze slowly approached Darington to as not to further upset him.
"Hi, Darington. Is everything ok?" Blaze gently greeted.
Darington gasped when he saw Blaze, drove over, and gave him a hug.

Blazing Rescue Chapter 3
Starla happily watched Blaze interact with his parents when she realized something-He still doesn't know what happened in the last race, and the cowgirl didn't feel comfortable explaining everything with his parents right there.
Starla approached Blaze's parents.
"Excuse me, we need to borrow your son for a moment." She politely requested.
"Of course, my dear." Blaze's mother, Ember, granted.
Starla giggled and blushed, not used to being addressed that way.
"Just 'Starla' is fine with me, ma'am." Starla introduced.
"And I'm Darington!" The stunt truck introduced.
"I'm Stripes!"
"Zeg." The dinosaur truck introduced, pointing to himself.
"It looks like Blaze made some new friends here." Ember concluded.
"He sure did, sweetheart." Blaze's father, Phoenix, agreed.
Stripes grabbed Blaze with his tow hook and everyone drove to Blaze's pit.
"We heard you asking Zeg about what happened during the last race." Darington stated.

Blaze helped AJ into his drivers seat as Zeg, Starla, Stripes, and Crusher pulled up to the starting line.
"DARINGTON!!!!" Darington sang as he flew from his pit to the starting line. He landed in a daze, but quickly recovered.
Everyone laughed with their courageous but clumsy friend as he took his place to Stripes' right at the starting line.
Crusher, however, secretly recorded Darington's blunder, for later use.
Starla revved her engine on Blaze's left, impatient for the race to start.
Blaze watched her with hearts floating above his hood.
AJ now understood why his best friend was so distracted earlier!
He decided to address this at home, where they had privacy.
However, before he could figure out the best way to bring up the topic with Blaze later, the race had started, much to the impatient racers' relief.
Thankfully, Blaze had averted his lovestricken gaze when he noticed that the race was finally about to start.
Each of the racers had one question on their minds as they finally t

Blazing Rescue-Chapter 1
It was a sunny day in Axel City. Blaze and his best friend AJ were on their way to the Axel City Monster Dome.
"You excited for today's race, Blaze?" AJ asked his best friend.
"Oh, yeah!" Blaze replied enthusiastically. "I can't wait to race with all of our Monster Machine friends!"
AJ laughed. "Yeah, me neither, buddy. Races with Starla, Stripes, Darington, and Zeg are always so much fun!"
Blaze and AJ enter the Monster Dome. In the distance, Starla the cowgirl truck is twirling her lasso in her pit.
"Hey, there, Starla!" Blaze greeted.
"Hi, Starla!" AJ greeted.
Starla stopped lassoing at the sound of her name.
"Why, howdy there, fellas! Y'all excited for the race?"
"Yeah!" Blaze and AJ replied simultaneously.
Blaze and AJ give themselves a moment to realize they spoke at the same time, then laugh.
"Perhaps you should get a tuneup before the race starts, Blaze." AJ suggested.
"Sounds like a good idea, AJ." Blaze agreed.
"Maybe Gabby's gonna find a hotdog in your engine again!" Starla

Spike's New Lover Part 1
Spike's New Lover Ch1
It was another typical day in Ponyville. All the ponies were doing their usual routine, Rainbow Dash was practicing new moves. Pinkie was about to plan a party. Fluttershy was with the animals. Applejack was Applebuckin. Twilight was doing her usual study time. Rarity was at her shop making dresses for others as usual.
Anyways, as the ponies were doing that, Spike was busy helping out Twilight as usual. He liked helping Twilight, she was his best friend after all. But Spike always had a huge crush on Rarity. Rarity always seemed to not notice it though. But today was the day Spike said to himself "I'm going to tell her my true feelings today."
"Spike, could you please pass me that book?" Twilight asked as usual.
Spike agreed and gave Twilight her book. Then he started talking about how he would confess his feelings for Rarity.
"I'm going to finally confess my feelings for Rarity," said Spike.
Twilight gave a puzzled look at her assistant, "Are you sure you want to

MLP Capper x Neko!Reader Blind Dates
I recently have been reading a lot of MLP Capper x Reader fanfics. I feel in love with him since I first saw him in the movie back in September. I had it on my mind to make a fanfics of him for so long, I had just put it off for the other projects I have in mind. This will contain some spoilers for the movie. So if you haven't seen the movie yet, (for some reason) then be warned. Sit back, relax, & enjoy.

Capper tapped his claw on the fancy table impatiently. After the main six had defeated the Storm King and reformed Tempest, Capper had decided to move to Ponyville. Twilight had thankfully convinced Verko to release him from debt, so he was free to move on with his life. Rarity had lately been talking to Capper about a female cat friend or hers. After million of times not even Celestia could count of begging, Capper finally agreed to go on a blind date. Rarity set

"Blaze do you still have that map of the island from the race?" AJ asked.

"Hmm...lemme see..." Blaze wondered.

Blaze searched through his belongings until, eventually, he found it.

"Ok, there aren't any abandoned caves, but we can camp inside of Mount Dragon until we find Mom and Dad, and since it's nice and warm, due to being a dormant volcano, it's the perfect place for Darington and Zeg to recover." Blaze planned.

"Sounds good, Blaze." Stripes agreed.

As the Monster Machines trekked up Mount Dragon, Blaze's mind couldn't help but wander toward his parents.

They had done so much for him, and how did he repay them? By letting some hooligans take them away.

Needless to say, Blaze felt like a failure.

Where were they? How was he going to save them? Who kidnapped them? Blaze found himself overwhelmed by his questions and the multitudinous possible answers.

"Blaze? You ok, buddy?" AJ asked.

"Yeah, I'm ok. Thanks for asking." Blaze lied, smiling widely.

Despite the fact that his answer couldn't have been further from the truth, Blaze knew that he had to push his concern aside for Darington and Zeg's sake.

AJ has known his best friend for long enough to recognize his fake smile. Could he really blame him? First, Blaze's parents get abducted, two of his friends fall ill, and on top of that, everyone almost drowned on the way here. An ordeal like that would stress anyone out.

The 8-year-old just hoped the red Monster Machine would open up about his problems instead of bottling them.

"Stripes, Starla, how's Zeg?" AJ asked.

"He's finished vomiting for now, so we're just giving him some water." Stripes informed.

"I hope he'll be able to hold it down." Starla worried.

Blaze held the same sentiment as he gave Darington a drink. How come he and Zeg had only just now developed seasickness? They had ridden on the pirate ship with everyone before, without, quite literal, ill effect. What had changed? Blaze shook his head. There would be time for questions later. Right now, all that mattered was getting medical attention for Darington and Zeg, and finding his parents.

Darington felt terrible, not just physically, but emotionally. How come, of all times to get sick, his body had to pick now? And after barely surviving drowning, no less. Now, instead of looking for Blaze's parents, everyone would be too busy taking care of he and Zeg. This made the daredevil feel like a burden. Maybe it would've been better had he just stayed in Axle City.

Zeg wasn't feeling much better about all this. The dinosaur felt that all he and Darington would do is slow Blaze down.

Just before Darington and Zeg could make themselves feel any worse about this undesired turn of events, they and the others arrived at the top of Mount Dragon, where they would be taking refuge until Blaze's parents were found.

"Mom, Dad, please be ok..." Blaze internally begged.
Blaze just couldn't sleep.

No matter how much he tossed and turned, Blaze's concern for his parents did a great job of keeping him awake.

Blaze figured, since he was awake, he might as well make sure the boat hadn't drifted off course.

Blaze reversed off his sleeping bag and tiptoed past his friends.

Darington was laying on his left side. Like Blaze, there was a retainer in his mouth. The star-spangled stuntman was cuddling a teddy bear that had just as many, if not more, stars than it's owner.

Blaze couldn't help but inwardly giggle. Darington looked a bit silly with his tongue sticking out and drool all over his chin.

Starla looked so peaceful when she slept. Blaze couldn't fathom how it was possible for someone to look so beautiful all the time.

Blaze shook his head in an effort to clear it.

Just as Blaze was about to leave, he was startled by loud snoring.

Zeg was laying on his sleeping bag with his mouth hanging open. There was a puddle of drool big enough to swim in, and the dinosaur was snoring at a volume that could wake the dead.

How his friends were able to sleep through this was beyond Blaze's reach.

Blaze took a cautious step...

CREAK!

Oh no! Blaze had forgotten all about those creaky floorboards!

Zeg stirred for a moment, then rolled over.

Blaze sighed in relief, and left the cabin.

Blaze drove onto the deck, expecting solitude.

But this was not to be.

Stripes was hanging onto the mast using his tiger claws and steering with his tail.

"Hey, Blaze. Couldn't sleep?" Stripes greeted.

"No, I'm worried about my parents." Blaze lisped.

"Awww, I'm sorry, Blaze. We'll find them, I promise." Stripes reassured, hugging Blaze.

"Thanks, Stripes. I just can't help but worry about them. I mean, who knows what they could be going through right now?" Blaze vented, eyes beginning to water.

"Hey, Hey, Blaze, it's gonna be ok." Stripes consoled, cupping his face in his tires.

Blaze wiped his tears, feeling much better. He was about to fall asleep when he felt a raindrop.

"Stripes? The news didn't say anything about rain, did it?" Blaze asked.

"No, Blaze. Why do you-"

A thunderclap cut Stripes' question short.

"We need to wake the others NOW." Blaze said.

Stripes nodded, and the trucks hurried down to the bedroom.

Blaze gently nudged Darington.

"Darington, wake up, a storm's brewing." Blaze informed.

Darington opened one eye, then the other.

"Oh, man, you and Stripes won't believe the dream I just-wait, what was that about a storm?!" Darington lisped, panicking.

"Don't panic, Darington. We'll get through this storm. We just have to stay calm." Blaze consoled.

"Thanks, Blaze." Darington thanked. ["Man, Blaze's optimism is just what we need right now."] Darington thought as he drove over to AJ.

"AJ, wake up. Blaze says there's a storm coming." Darington informed, gently nudging him.

"Thanks for warning me. I'll help you wake the others." AJ thanked.

AJ woke Gabby and explained the situation to her.

"Oh, no! I hope we don't sink!" Gabby panicked.

"Don't worry, Gabby, we'll be fine." Stripes reassured.

"Thanks, Stripes." Gabby thanked.

Gabby walked over to Starla and gently nudged her.

"Starla, a storm's coming, you need to wake up." Gabby informed.

Starla slowly woke up.

"Don't worry, y'all, we'll get through this." Starla reassured.

"How are we gonna wake Zeg up? He sleeps through EVERYTHING." Darington asked.

"How about we tickle him?" AJ suggested.

"That could work." Blaze agreed.

AJ slowly approached Zeg and tickled him all over.

"Zeg, wake up, coochie coochie coo, there's a storm outside!" AJ informed.

However, Zeg was still sleeping.

"Okay, tickling didn't work. What else could we try?" Blaze wondered.

Everyone tried to think, but Zeg's snoring was too much of a distraction.

That, and the boat was swaying so much from the storm that they were struggling to stay on their wheels and feet.

Stripes used his tiger claws to anchor himself.

AJ picked Gabby up and jumped into Blaze.

Darington grabbed the mast, and Starla grabbed him with her tow cable.

The storm finally let up...

Blaze sighed in relief. "Everyone ok?"

"Gabby and I are ok." AJ confirmed.

"Starla and I are ok." Darington confirmed.

"And I'm ok." Stripes confirmed.

A snore from Zeg confirmed he was ok.

"When you said Zeg sleeps through everything, you weren't kidding, Darington." Blaze realized.

"At least one of us will have gotten some sleep tonight." Darington slurred.

"I'm just glad that storm's finally over." AJ said.

Or was it?

The thunder, rain, and crashing waves picked up again.

"Maybe I spoke too soon." AJ blushed.

"If we don't act fast, the boat's gonna capsize!" Blaze panicked.

"Capsize? What that mean?" Zeg asked,

"That means the boat's gonna tip over." Blaze explained.

Zeg gasped. "If boat tip over, then Zeg and friends drown!"

"I don't wanna drown!" Darington wailed, eyes beginning to water.

"Don't worry, Darington, we won't, as long as we have a little faith." Blaze consoled.

Zeg hid under his sleeping bag at the sound of another thunderclap.

"Aww, what's wrong, big fella?" Blaze asked.

"Zeg no like thunder!" Zeg whimpered.

"Awww, poor Zeg." AJ sympathized,

"Don't be scared, Zeg. Your friends are here, it's ok." Blaze comforted.

Lightning struck moments later.

The waves crashed, throwing the boat around as if it was a pillow in the midst of a pillow fight.

Everyone struggled to keep traction as the boat churned and rocked through the angry waters.

Blaze knew he woukd die one day; it was inevitable.

Something else the 25-year old knew for certain was that he would MUCH rather lose a race to Crusher than die like this,

Blaze couldn't handle hearing his friends screaming and panicking.

["Please, King Neptune, have mercy on us! My friends and I are just trying to find my parents!"] Blaze mentally begged, desperately hoping the King of the sea and earthquakes had heard him.

Despite Blaze's fear, he knew his friends were relying on him to keep them safe.

"Everyone, calm down!" Blaze commanded. "launch your tow hooks at me, I'll keep us together!"

"But what if the boat sinks?! Our weight might cause you to...." Stripes worried, on the verge of tears.

"I would rather die than lose any of you." Blaze stated.

"We won't let that happen, Blaze." AJ promised.

Everyone nodded in agreement and packed their things, believing they must at least be approaching Dargon Island by now.

"I'm gonna do onto the deck to see where we are." Blaze offered, after packing his stuff,

"Okay, Blaze." AJ accepted, packing his things.

Blaze drove onto the deck of the ship. He noticed that other than some wet patches, the boat was perfectly intact.

Blaze sighed in relief. ["Thank you, King Neptune."]

Five minutes later, Dragon Island entered the young racer's view.

Blaze drove down to the sleeping area.

"Guys, we're almost here!" Blaze informed.

Everyone cheered, relieved that their maritime ordeal was finally over.

Darington, however, felt as if the boat was still rocking.

"Darington ok?" Zeg asked.

Blaze towed Darington onto the deck and allowed his friend to vomit in the water.

"It's ok, Darington, it's ok." Blaze soothed, rubbing his friends back.

"Hey, Blaze, what's going-Ooh." Stripes realized.

"Yeah. The storm must've made him seasick." Blaze guessed.

"He's not the only one, y'all!" Starla announced, dragging a seasick Zeg to the other side of the deck, the dinosaur quickly using the ocean as a vomit bag.

["My parents are Zeus-knows-where, I just almost died in a storm, and now 2 of my friends are sick! This is JUST GREAT!"] Blaze thought.

"Blaze, what do you think?" AJ asked.

I"m sorry, what was the question?" Blaze asked.

"I was thinking we could take care of Zeg and Darington, then start looking for Phoenix and Ember." AJ suggested.

Blaze wanted to argue, but couldn't. As much as he wanted to find his parents, Blaze knew Zeg and Darington's health was top priority right now.

"Yeah, sounds good." Blaze agreed.

Blaze lowered the anchor as the ship approached Dragon Island.
Meanwhile, on Dragon Island, Crusher was enjoying a relaxing vacation.

Just as he was about to take a sip of his drink, Crusher was interrupted by a group of trucks towing two hostages behind them.

Crusher immediately recognized the hostages-those were Blaze's parents!

And were those his father's servants who had kidnapped them?!

Crusher had to investigate.

"HEY! Where do you think you're going?!" Crusher demanded.

One of Phoenix and Ember's captors recognized Crusher and rushed over to him.

"Master Crusher, sir, what a pleasant surprise! The boss gave us orders to deliver these two trucks to him." The servant explained.

Crusher gasped.

"Father is behind this?! What would he want two innocent trucks for?!" he asked.

"Your father didn't elaborate, sir." A female servant explained.

"It pains me to cut our conversation short, Master Crusher, but your father said he'd have our hoods on a platter if we failed to deliver the captives by sundown." Another female servant interjected.

Crusher shuddered. After being raised by his father, he knew for a fact that there was a slim chance of that threat being hyperbolic.

"As uncomfortable as I am with innocent civilians being kidnapped for no reason, disobeying Father rarely goes well, so you'd best be on your way. Dismissed." Crusher admitted.

The servants left, save for one.

"Master Crusher, if I may, I wasn't comfortable with this arrangement either. I didn't even help with the bakery robbery." The servant confessed.

"You have intel, don't you?" Crusher asked.

"Yes, sir. This paper has the address to the secret location where your father told us to take the civil-WOAH!" The servant advised, before being dragged away.

Crusher picked up the paper, and stashed itm

Meanwhile, in Dinosaur Valley, outside the City, Blaze was trying to call his parents.

"Mommy, Daddy, it's Blaze. Please call me as soon as you get this." Blaze begged, ending the voicemail recording.

AJ patted Blaze's tire in a comforting manner.

Not too far from Blaze, Gabby was also in Dinosaur Valley, replacing Fluffy the tyrannosaurus rex's tire.

"How does that feel, Fluffy?" Gabby asked.

Fluffy drove around to test his tire and it felt fine. He drove back to Gabby and licked her as a show of gratitude.

Gabby giggled. "Aww, you're welcome, big fella."

All of a sudden, the young mechanic heard a voice calling her name.

"Gabby! Gabby!" AJ called.

Gabby turned at the sound of her name.

AJ ran toward Gabby, a look of desperation etched across his face.

"AJ, is everything Ok? Does Blaze need to be fixed?" Gabby asked, approaching her friend.

AJ explained the situation to Gabby.

She gasped. "That's terrible! Is Blaze ok?" Gabby asked.

"He's worried about his parents. Will you help us find them?" AJ asked.

"Anything for Blaze. Don't worry about a tent and overnight bag for me, I was planning on staying in Dinosaur Valley for a few days in case any of the other dinos needed repairs." Gabby agreed.

"Thanks, Gabby. This means so much to Blaze." AJ thanked, hugging Gabby.

"Aww, you're welcome? AJ." Gabby replied, returning the hug.

AJ led Gabby to the others, who were trying to figure out how to find Blaze's parents.

Stripes noticed Gabby's arrival.

"Gabby, hi! You're just in time! Can you help us find Blaze's parents?" Stripes asked.

"Of course, gang. What seems to be the problem?" Gabby asked.

"The people who kidnapped Blaze's parents scrambled their trackers and now he can't find them!" Darington explained.

"Hmm....lemme see if I can help." Gabby offered.

Gabby hopped into Blaze's driver seat and turned on the tracker. Next, she set it so it would find Blaze's parents. Then, Gabby programmed the tracker to tell her Phoenix and Ember's last location.

"Ok, I hope this works." Gabby hoped.

Moments later, the tracker showed Blaze's parents' last location.

"According to your tracker, Blaze, your Mom and Dad are on Dragon Island." Gabby concluded.

"Oh, Gabby, thank you so much!!" Blaze thanked, giving Gabby a hug.

"You're welcome, Blaze, but could you loosen up?" Gabby requested.

"I'm sorry, of course I'll loosen up!" Blaze apologized, complying with the request.

"That's alright, Blaze, you were just grateful." Gabby accepted.

"How we get to Dragon Island? Need boat." Zeg asked.

"Don't worry, Zeg, I came prepared!" Blaze reassured, removing his sailboat from his trunk and assembling it.

"Uh, buddy?" AJ called.

"Yes, AJ?" Blaze responded.

"Are you sure our boat is big enough to fit everyone?" AJ asked.

"There's only one way to find out; You all try to fit in the boat. I'll turn into a hydrofoil and sail to Dragon Island. You and Gabby can ride with me to the island, and everyone else will take the sailboat." Blaze suggested.

AJ and Gabby put on their life jackets while the trucks tried climbed onto Blaze's sailboat.

Blaze sped to a nearby ramp, jumped off, transformed into a hydrofoil while performing a barrel roll in mid-air, and landed in the water.

Gabby anchored her ATV to the sailboat, and hopped into Blaze's passenger seat, next to AJ.

However, once the trucks got onto Blaze's sailboat, a problem was discovered.

"Uh, guys? Not to be the bearer of bad news, here, but...we don't all fit on the sailboat." Darington informed.

"What do we do now?" Stripes asked.

"We could always swim." Starla suggested.

Zeg shuddered at the thought.

"Sorry, Starla, swimming isn't the best idea. First, it would take too long, and second, Zeg doesn't like swimming." AJ rejected.

Blaze could feel his oil beginning to bubble. Why did he bother going to the trouble of asking his friends for help if he could easily have found his parents ages ago?!

Then, Blaze remembered that his friends were under no obligation to help, and could've easily refused. Also? He could've never learned his parents' last location without Gabby's help.

".....Then, after we find the pirate ship-Oh, hey, Blaze. You were daydreaming again. I was thinking we could find the old pirate ship we sailed that one time when we were racing to the top of the world." AJ suggested.

"AJ, that's perfect!" Blaze squealed.

"Where did we put the darn thing, anyway?" Starla asked.

"I don't kn-ACHOO!"

Darington's sneeze knocked over a tarp that was covering the ship.

"Bless you, Darington." Blaze giggled.

"That's one way to find a pirate ship." AJ laughed.

"C'mon y'all! We need to set sail for Dragon Island so we can find Blaze's ma and pa!" Starla encouraged.

Everyone gathered their things, pushed the ship into the sea, and climbed onto it.

As his friends made themselves comfortable in preparation for the 2-hour ride to Dragon Island, Blaze drove to the helm of the ship.

"Don't worry, Mommy and Daddy. My friends and I are gonna find you and bring you back to Axel City safe and sound. I promise." Blaze vowed.

"Anything for Blaze." Darington agreed.

Darington rushed inside, packed his overnight bag, and met Blaze and AJ outside.

Blaze rushed over to Darington and gave him a big hug.

"Thank you so much, Darington!" Blaze thanked.

"Aww, you're welcome, Blaze." Darington said, returning the hug.

"C'mon, everyone, let's see if Starla can help us." AJ said.

Blaze tossed AJ into his driver's seat, and the boys set off to recruit Starla.

Starla was at her barn playing with Little Cow when she heard her friends honking.

"Blaze, AJ, Darington! What brings you fellers around these parts?" Starla greeted.

"Y'know how Clive's bakery was robbed earlier? Well AJ and Blaze were there with his parents, and they got abducted." Darington explained.

Starla's jaw hit the floor when she heard the news. How could anyone do such a thing?

"I know." Darington agreed.

"I know you have your responsibilities here, Starla, so I'd understand if you couldn't help..." Blaze sighed, looking down sadly.

Little Cow drove up to Blaze and hugged him.

"Aww, thanks for trying to make me feel better, Little Cow." Blaze thanked.

Starla rushed out of her barn with her overnight bag and hugged Blaze's other side.

"Blaze, I might have my responsibilities here, but no responsibility of mine will ever be more important than helping my friends." Starla reassured.

"Oh, thank you, Starla! You have no clue how much this means to me!" Blaze thanked, returning Starla's hug.

"Let's go see if Stripes and Zeg can help." AJ offered.

"Great idea, AJ!" Blaze agreed.

Everyone set off to find Stripes.

The tiger truck was in his treehouse bouncing on his trampoline when he heard his friends honking.

Stripes came out of his treehouse to greet his friends.

"Hi, everyone! Wanna come up and play?" Stripes offered.

"Sorry, Stripes, I wish we could." Blaze politely declined.

Darington explained the situation to Stripes.

The tiger truck was so shocked that if it weren't for his tiger claws catching him, Stripes would've fallen right out of his tree.

"You ok, Stripes?" AJ asked.

"I'm fine, thanks, AJ. Just shocked." Stripes answered.

"Will you please help us get Mommy and Daddy back?" Blaze asked.

"Of course, Blaze." Stripes agreed.

"Thank you so much, Stripes." Blaze thanked.

Stripes climbed inside, packed his overnight bag and came back outside.

"I packed my jungle horn, too, just in case." Stripes informed.

"Awesome, Stripes! Now, let's find Zeg!" Blaze announced.

Blaze and the gang drove off to find their prehistoric pal.

"I hope Mommy and Daddy are ok." Blaze thought.

AJ noticed the concerned expression on Blaze's face.

"Don't worry, Blaze, I'm sure Phoenix and Ember are just fine." AJ reassured.

The Monster Machines found Zeg in his favourite valley playing Geyser Blast with his dinosaur friends.

Zeg sped over to the Monster Machines and hugged them all individually.

"Zeg so happy to see friends! Play Geyser Blast?" Zeg offered.

"Sorry, big fella, not today." Blaze politely declined.

"Friends going camping?" Zeg asked.

Stripes explained the situation to Zeg, and asked if he wanted to help.

Zeg gasped, told the dinosaurs to keep playing without him in their language, and drove inside his cave.

Moments later, he came outside with his overnight bag.

"Of course Zeg help Blaze. Blaze friend." Zeg agreed.

Blaze hugged Zeg.

"Thank you so much, Zeg." Blaze thanked.

"Blaze welcome." Zeg responded.

Blaze and his friends continued on their way.

AJ couldn't help but wonder.....

"Blaze, how are we gonna find Phoenix and Ember?" AJ asked.

"Mommy, Daddy, and I have built in trackers that are connected so we can always find each other." Blaze explained.

However, when Blaze tried to locate Phoneix and Ember using their trackers, his efforts were rewarded with static.

"Hang on, let me try that again." Blaze offered.

Blaze tried locating his parents again, only to achieve the same results as before.

"Whoever kidnapped your parents must've scrambled the trackers!" Darington theorized.

"Scrambled the trackers?! B-but how?!" Blaze panicked.

"Don't worry, Blaze. We'll find Phoenix and Ember, I promise." AJ promised.
Blazing Rescue Chapter 5
Here you go, Chapter 5 of my thrilling fanfic! :D

Blaze returned the hug, but was a bit confused as to why he was receiving one to begin with. Wasn't it HIS fault that Darington was upset right now?

"Awww, I'm happy to see you too, Darington. But what's with the hug? You see me everyday." Blaze gently asked.

"Oh, it's nothing, Blaze. I'm just glad you're ok." Darington answered, tightening the hug as he tried not to cry.

"Sorry to worry you, Darington." Blaze apologized, also tightening the hug.

"It's alright." Darington accepted.

He noticed a video of Darington's accident from the last race playing on the stuntman's tablet. He saw insulting comments regarding Darington's clumsiness and telling him just to give up on racing.

Blaze HAD to investigate this.

"Darington? Did Crusher upload the video of you crashing into the wall from the last race?" Blaze asked.

Darington nodded sadly.

"It went viral basically the minute it hit YouTube *sniff* because of Crusher's platform. *sniff* Believe it or not, *sniff* that guy has more fans than you would think." Darington explained.

"How many social networks was the video shared on, Darington?" AJ asked, fearing the answer.

"Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, you name it. I don't think there's anyone on this stadium who HASN'T seen that video." Darington answered. "All those people who called me a useless klutz were right!"

Darington burst into tears.

"Those comments are absolutely awful, Darington, and none of it is true." Blaze comforted, hugging Darington.

"Blaze is right, buddy. Everyone has clumsy moments sometimes." AJ reassured.

Darington bawled in Blaze's embrace.

Darington and Blaze hugged for a few more moments, just to make sure Darington had stopped crying, then gently separated.

"Thanks guys." Darington thanked.

"You're welcome, Darington. Ignore those comments, ok?" Blaze welcomed.

Blaze waved goodbye to Darington, and went to Zeg's pit to check up on his prehistoric pal.

However, he was getting repaired in Gabby's garage.

Blaze decided to wait until Zeg was repaired and Stripes had woken up from his nap to check on them.

For now, Blaze wanted to make sure his parents' visit to Axel City was unforgettable. But where could he take them?

Today was Saturday, so the carnival was open all day, but then he remembered that Phoenix doesn't like rollercoasters.

Blaze considered taking his parents to see a movie, but the movie that was playing didn't fit his parents' tastes.

The idea of sightseeing was quickly discarded, as they might have already done that.

Blaze thought that perhaps his parents could use a snack after their long journey, so he decided to take them to the bakery.

Just the thought of the new caramel fudge brownie cake made Blaze's mouth water.

Blaze didn't even notice that he was driving toward AJ, Phoenix and Ember until he felt a handkerchief gently wiping his drool away.

"Blaze, my love, you were drooling." His mother explained.

"You hungry, buddy?" AJ asked with a laugh.

"Well, I was thinking about where to take Mom and Dad and then I started thinking about the bakery, and the newest cake...." Blaze explained, trailing off as he pictured the dessert in his mind.

AJ and Blaze's parents laughed.

"Well, hon, now that Blaze mentions it, I COULD use a snack." Phoenix supposed.

"I could too. Perhaps a slice of that cake is just what we need to recharge after our trip." Ember agreed.

Blaze giggled at his mother's enthusiasm.

"Let's go to the bakery before Blaze floods the Monster Dome with his drool." AJ joked.

After laughing at AJ's joke, Blaze helped his best friend into his drivers seat.

"Mommy, Daddy, come with us! AJ and I will take you to the bakery." Blaze offered.

Phoenix and Ember followed their son to the bakery, where Clive the baker was putting the finishing touches on a caramel fudge brownie cake.

"Blaze, AJ, what a delightful surprise!" Clive greeted. "And who are these kind trucks?"

"This is Ember, my Mommy, and Phoenix, my Daddy." Blaze introduced. "It's their first time here, and I was wondering if we could all have a slice of that delicious caramel fudge brownie cake, please."

"Of course, Blaze. 4 slices of caramel fudge brownie cake coming right up." Clive responded, grabbing 4 forks, 4 plates, his cake knife, and the cake server.

AJ, Blaze, Phoenix and Ember sat down at a booth while they waited for their cake.

"Excuse me. I want to wash my tires before I eat." Blaze excused.

Blaze reversed out of the booth and drove to the men's restroom.

As Blaze washed his tires, he looked in the mirror and noticed that there was bacon in his teeth from breakfast! How come no one told him?!

"My friends probably didn't want to embarrass me." Blaze thought as he used a toothpick to get the bacon out of his teeth.

Blaze threw the toothpick away, washed his tires again, and left the restroom.

Blaze gasped in horror when he saw the bakery.

All of the tables were overturned, windows were broken, pastries were stolen, and worst of all, he couldn't find AJ, Clive, or his parents!

"Mommy? Daddy? AJ? Clive?" Blaze whispered, unsure if the thieves were still in the bakery.

AJ peeked from behind the counter and sighed, relieved to see his best friend.

"Coast is clear, Clive. They're gone, it's just Blaze." AJ reassured.

Clive sighed in relief and drove out from behind the counter.

"What happened while I was washing my tires?" Blaze asked, appalled at the state of the bakery.

"Some bandits entered the bakery and made a mess of the place!" Clive explained. "They took off with about $1,000 worth of pastries and-I'm sorry, Blaze-they kidnapped your parents too."

Blaze gasped and put a tire over his mouth. When he imagined an unforgettable visit for his parents, he saw cotton candy at the carnival, watching a movie at the theatre, performing stunts at the skate park, and talking to them at home until he fell asleep. Not THIS.

Blaze might not have known where to start looking for his parents or even what their captors looked like, but one thing was indisputable-Blaze was not going to rest until he found his parents and brought them home.
