Imani Cover

This cover marks the start of my newest comic featuring Clutterstep, Imani. Expect to explore a new setting as Clutterstep is thrown completely out of his element, with the help of a guide to find his way back.

Updates will be posted both in my gallery and on the Clutterstepping group :iconclutterstepping:

It's arabic, Iman means faith, Imani would mean 'my faith'. Of course, I dunno what context it's in here.

In arabic iman means to always have faith to allah

As a Leo, myself and a few fellow lions applaud you, good Deviant-user, for this fitting chant:
Simba Eww, Gross nala icon , Kiara annoying , The Lion King II - Cub Kovu Icon ,The Lion Guard - Kion Icon , *why is there no icons for Alex or Aslan?*
honestly it was the first thing that popped in my head

Have you listened to the Paul Simon album Graceland?
MLP-Silver-Quill's avatar
Can't say I have. Is there a song I should hear?

Well, what you should know is that in the mid 80's Paul Simon, who was frustrated by writing great songs that never came to life in the studio due to the traditional pop song structure, traveled to South Africa (during the waning years of Apartheid) to get out of this songwriting funk.  The result was an album heavily influenced by the music of South Africa.  When I think of music from anywhere in Africa, this is the first album that comes to mind.  The full album is in the link, although the material after about the 43:06 mark are just demos and alternate versions of songs on Graceland.…

Of course if the lyrics confuse you, it is because Paul Simon has (for the most part) abandoned the concept of a linear narrative approach.  Fortunately, I found the meaning of at least half of the songs on Rock Genius and all the songs have at least one annotation.  Here is the song list.

1. The Boy in the Bubble 3:59…
2. Graceland 4:51…
3. I Know what I Know 3:13…
4. Gumboots 2:44…
5. Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes 5:51…
6. You can Call Me Al 4:40…
7. Under African Skies 3:37…
8. Homeless 3:48…
9. Crazy Love, Vol. II 4:19…
10. That was Your Mother 2:52…
11. All around the World or The Myth of Fingerprints 3:18…
