This is a tribute to the stellar Simon Stålenhag who is one of my biggest inspirations with environments! His take on the Swedish countryside with science-fiction elements was really unique and not something you see often. So yeah, I did this with a mouse mostly to see how far I can push myself with the limitation. Simon himself noticed it and retweeted it too which kinda gave me a big ol "senpai noticed me" moment.

I am so glad he noticed you sir - you deserve it :)

This is beautiful - simple and very striking - the detailing on the car is exquisite :)

The shines on the river from the strange stuff over there - superb :)

Going to be honest, the classic boxy 80's Volvo caught my eye way more than the weirdness going on in the background. xD

Well I'm glad to hear that! Not only because I like how the car came out but because the kind of sci-fi stuff is supposed to be kinda casual - Like it's nothing out of the ordinary!

I love this! The way the grass kind of looks like a cityscape of skyscrapers combined with the alien stuff in the distances makes me think of Canabalt

What an impressive job. At first glance it reminded me of the movie Annihilation. I love that blend of scifi and common themes.

I've noticed that sci-fi elements go pretty well with old things
