Q: Where is my fucking copy of the digital files
A: As stated on the project page, digital files are released once people start getting their books. The purpose of this is to ensure that top tier supporters don't have the contents of the book spoiled for them once the digital edition is distributed online. I'm sorry if you are unhappy with this decision but IMO it's the right way to do it. 

Q: Why is it taking so long.
A: If this is your first Crowd-sourced project it may seem like this project is taking a long time. If you've done a few you understand that 6 months is rather short turnaround for most projects extending up to a year. My goal was within 3 months. Once the project was successful on offbeatr I still had to wait 3 week for the funds to clear into my account. So technically nothing could start until nearly a month AFTER the project funding ended. Is the project taking longer then anticipated? Yes. This is due to EXTRA goodies like mouse pads and usb keys and so on. More stuff means more planning. The schedule for the book was set in place for only the book as the only deliverable product. There is no way I could coordinate 6 different manufacturers, some overseas all withing the deadlines set for just a book. Hang in there and the end result will definitely be worth the wait.

Q: Shipping seems pricey
A: I am neither Amazon.com gaining amazing shipping discounts nor do I live in america where the united postal service is running itself into billions of debt offering rock bottom prices. We are a small outfit doing our best to give you a good proper rate. We are working on checking multiple options and services to reduce to price of shipping but please understand there's only so much we can do. Parcels just cost more. If you are uncomfortable with the prices quoted currently please consider getting a refund. The assumption that the shipping rates are higher as a form of "price gouging" is ridiculous as it is unfounded. Shit's expensive and as soon as I send stuff to another country it just doubles in cost. This is just the nature of doing business out of Canada with a majority american fan base. Short of people volunteering their time to ship 700+ packages out of USA there are few options so far but we are still looking.

Q:You made so much money why isn't shipping free or insert something else that should be free etc.. 
A:When you see a figure like 60,000 without understanding the logistics of a shipping, manufacturing, managing accounts and all the other stuff that comes with it looks very big. I can ensure you that a large portion of those funds will be used for the project. For a better understanding. Let's take the 700 or so people who will be shipped a product. Let's just say we cover the shipping across the board ($25 for all cases). That's about $18000 just for shipping, nearly a 1/3 of the full project funding. Take another 10k for artist and legal fees. We are left with 30k. Let's break down the cost of that for the book and posters, that's another 20k including taxes, import, shipping. 

So now we have 12k left to finance the following oppai mouse pads, regular mouse pads, die cut mouse pads, custom made usb keys, copybons, canter calendar voucher, customer service, and whatever other hidden costs. Basically impossible.

Projects cost time and money, what you may see as an effortless easy cash grab is in fact a grueling long term coordinated effort that stretches months prior to the final stretch. It involves many people whom all deserve to be compensated for their time and allows us to give you a final product that we believe you'll agree is amazing.
