Don't you give your friends swords? You should.

CAS/Hanwei claymore sword, with re-wrapped handle, scabbard made of solvent-welded ABS plastic and stainless steel wire, wrapped in leather with applique'd overlay. Baldrick buckles on, and has quick-release lock at the shoulder.

I have that same sword, and I'm looking for a good scabbard. Advice?

I have a pretty nice viking sword. My tastes run toward the Japanese, when it comes to swords...

the key question is: is it razor sharp or a dull mock sword :-)

It's not razor sharp; swords of that period weren't. It's fine steel with a good edge that'll cut meat easily enough.

Nicely done work! A great gift for anyone who appreciates sword, I'd think.

Thanks. :)  She's already tested it on a watermelon and apparently it does a fine job.

Excellent. Might have to test it on soaked tatami omote, next! ;)

That watermelon died a dignified death at the hands of a wee Scottish lass wielding her mighty broadsword.

Baldick buckles on. I bet he does.

It's truly a thing of beauty, and I LOVE it. And I can't think of Baldric without thinking of brilliant plans!

I can't read the word "Baldrick" without hearing "of course, where are my manners? Baldrick, this is Molly, an inexpensive prostitute. Molly, this is Baldrick, a pointless peasant."
