The Bad Place - II

The bad place is where - bad things happen. Everyone has dreamed of it; it's at the edge of your memory like a faint whiff of the odor of fear and rotten meat.

Under my studio, which is an old elementary school, is a cold-war era fallout shelter. It's a damp echoing space full of rust and the distant sound of crying children.
