Model is :iconrubiacaea:

The outfit is a hussar's (light cavalry) uniform from Austria, from the 1890's. It's fairly rare to find a complete uniform including the breeches. Sarah and I were rooting through the prop room and I thought "maybe this'll fit..." and it turned out it fit like it was made for her! I didn't have proper hessian boots or a sabre/sabre belt, but - whatever. Please fix the moth-holes in the breeches if you use this.

Hussar's uniforms are very very expensive. This one was on Ebay in 1997.

You can get reenactor quality (beautiful stuff!) from www.sutlers.co.uk

I meant to hit "Download" and accidentally hit "Print Requested" instead! Whoops! Sorry about that.

At any rate, I love all your photos! They're always invaluable reference material, both for the costumes as well as the poses! Thank you!
