Yesterday, this lovely lady stepped out of my imagination and into vector. She came out beautifully, just as I wanted her to...I have nothing about her I would change. The background came from an idea from KingofSnake and it came out pretty well. I originally thought of a night city scene but EVERYONE does them and I thought the night wouldn't be good enough for her. She deserves the daylight. There's something even more sexy about it being in the day...where anyone can see her, as she is, no cover of darkness.

She's very, very tall...and she's got meat in in her butt, legs, and such...she's not a stick and she's not your typical model girl. She's an alternative pinup and she knows it...and she's very proud of it. Her name is Renae.

:omg: I truly love the colors in this one. Dark, yet slick and exquiste in my opinion. Her posture and appearance are .....beautiful. It's absolutely gorgeous. ...............:faint:  :+fav:

That is so cool and evokative. I love that hair. Everything else too, but the hair stands out the most for me.

Have you made any tutorials?

I've been wanting to play more with vector programs for a while, but the ones I've found so far need a newer computer and operating system than I have.

Only if you feel like it, and if you can think of an aspect or technique of art or vector-art that people would want help with.

Thanks very much :) I like drawing the extremes of legs...either long and shapely or short and thick :) I'm an odd person :p

I like this piece. I also like the fact that you didn't use the clichéd "night scene flanked with woman of mystery." As a matter of fact, it's a lot more mysterious at that time of the day, considering how she's dressed. This image just sets my mind into a concentrated analysis: who is this woman? why is she dressed like that and especially at THIS time of day? What is going through her mind right now? Is she innocent, yet masked by a permiscuous exterior?

I also think that the photographic background behind the more cartoonish figure is interesting indeed. Even though the background is so much more complicated as far content and color spectrum goes, it doesn't overstate the figure, which is the intended center of focus. I like the style of the figure a lot. It reminds me of ads that I see in magazines (and sometimes on TV) that advertise beauty products.

Very elegant and classy and creative! Nice! :)

Thank you so much for the detailed comment. In my mind, as I was creating her, I answered many of the questions you asked but I don't think I should ruin your perception as art is half the artist's vision and half the viewer's.

This style is very smooth....very fluid. Much different from my normal style. It's been hard for me to wrap my mind around fully...I still catch myself trying to add in black lines :)

Imma now go prowl through your gallery.
