This is a song for a girl called Sophie
used to write her name on my arm.
Time has made us strangers
and I don't know her anymore.
But I really hope she's made it
that someone took her home.
She was lost but wasn't missing
she would always walk alone.
She was always like a feather, in the air
I never knew if she was flying or falling
she was always like a feather, in my life.
I hope she flies...

Weeeh, hey guys I'm back from vacation! It was awesome... I finally found enough time to finnish "The fourth apprentice" and start with "Fading echos" whilst laying on a towel at the beach and getting roasted by the sun xD
To the picture: This is a scene from the first book (Midnight) of the second arc, right when Squirrelpaw and Brambleclaw leave to accompany the journey-cats and Leafpaw says goodbye to her sister. I really liked that scene, because it emphasised how much the sisters love eachother... but it also shows that Leafpaw is less independant than her sister Squirrelpaw and doesn't really want to be seperated from her, though she knows she can't do anything against it.
I wanted to do some more Squirrelflight-, as well as Leafpool-fanart for quite a long time now, but never found good/strong scenes. After all they were very close when they were younger and I felt really sorry for both of them, but especially for Leafpool when they grew more and more apart. I wanted to depict that aspect of their relationship and maybe -as soon as I've read more about them- add a Dovewing/Ivypool-picture in comparison to the two of them... Since the sisters all have to face the same problem: Time can change and seperate people, even if they still care for eachother. And that's why I chose this song to go with the scene. It's a little old, but still... I like it.^^
I hope you like the picture... it was a quick-work again xD
Next upload will be either a new comic page... or some more Khan-fanart. I didn't decide which one to start first, yet. :3
