My freelance work has mostly been with recurring clients which is nice. I just need to figure out what exactly it is I want to do with my art, you know? I'm happy for the contract job but it's not an artsy one so that's kind of a bummer but still good in general :D
It's been sooo damn hot.... I think it July I was getting heatstroke at some point. It's awful. Stay cool and hydrated sweetie <3
I've tried a couple lessons so far. Mostly creative ones. I got 50-70% through a portrait one and it was really interesting. I managed to make this with what I learned which is a step up for me: https://www.instagram.com/p/CDIJXZuDYNC/
But I feel like it needs more personality, idk... seems a bit cold. But I'm interested to learn more when I find a bit of time between work.
Oh neat! What's Art Fight? I think I've heard of it but don't really know what it's about.
Please feel free to "bother" me in a private note if you don't want to share here. I'm always happy to listen <3
I could've sworn I responded to this!
It hasn't really paid much but I got a good paying contract job so yay. Otherwise yeah still dying of heat... how about you?
I've started taking skillshare classes which is nice :D
What's going on with you? I think I see some new art :O
It hasn't really given me much income but a lot of it is because my mental health was declining a bit but I'm taking steps to feel better and the last two days have been pretty good with these steps :D
As for the heatwave... it was pretty UGH last week but it's finally cooling down a bit. Man working from home in the room without AC during May and June was killer!
Last week was Tristan's birthday and though I checked the weather and made his cake in advance during a cooler day, I couldn't make his meal in advance without it being leftover :/ It's ok I made it a day or two after so he still got the food he wanted :P
How are you holding up? Has it cooled down for you a bit?
