www.daughterofthelilies.com is a twice-weekly webcomic by MegSyv and colored by Yokoboo, both of whose work I love. Thistle here usually runs around in grey pants and a jacket, so I thought perhaps she'd like a slight change of pace for an afternoon off from adventuring...?
At any rate, this was the result of (heyyyyyy) not being able to sleep (again) and a side on the comic's website saying that due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there would be no update, but we could send in fan art. I tend to like lurking and enjoying and NOT INTERACTING WITH THE INTERNET and while I do on occasion indulge in fan art, it is really a very rare occurrence. This time, however, I thought to myself, "Aggh, what the heck. You like these people's work and you like the webcomic. You've been so busy you haven't drawn much lately. Get over yourself and send them some darn fan art."

I think this outfit might even make her happy for awhile - it's an inspired design that really suits the character. It's like an outfit she would design herself, but I can't help thinking of it as a gift because of the colors. (I like autumn colors too!)
