I really hope that after he is done with the last DLC...he takes a year to rest...or even longer.
Or you know...i would not mind if Sakurai delayed the new DLCS for a year...i would be willing to wait if it means him recovering fully.

Well, technically, no, he's not. They just released a Mii Gunner costume of him as DLC that came with a Megalovania remix track. But hey, that's still pretty good in my book.
Honestly, he might as well be his own character, that costume's a lot more spot on compared to other mii costumes, plus he got his own remix

I like how when Geno was included as a Mii Gunner costume, everybody was like "Oh come on, what the f*ck is this?! He should be playable!"
But when Sans got the same, everybody was like "YEEEEEES! SANS IS IN SMASH!"

Let me stop you there. That's a huge misconception. The Geno fanbase was glad their character finally got recognized with a costume. Now with Ultimate, they're awaiting Geno's eventual reveal which, let's be honest here, is probably going to happen.
He's already a spirit, which they wouldn't have done if they planned on putting him in. Even if that wasn't an issue, they have to get past Square Enix's stingy claims AGAIN, which is something they'd want to save for a bigger character, and they'd also have to make the outlandishly stupid decision to pick him over any other more deserving Mario character, like Captain Toad, Paper Mario, or even caving on Waluigi, before a character from a singular long-irrelevant RPG spin-off.
Let's really be honest here: his chances died a long time ago. A Mii Fighter costume is all he was ever going to get.
Back to what matters, I have seen many Geno fans get legitimately upset that he wasn't made into a fully-fledged characters, expressing their lack of gratitude by claiming Sakurai doesn't care about his fans and some even claiming he should kill himself over this. Maybe there are people saying that about Sans, but I haven't seen that yet. Just people treating him like he's an actual character and thanking Sakurai for it. And this is coming from the toxic fandom that harassed Markiplier for his first attempt at playing Undertale.
