I'm waiting for high school to be over so I can get away
From daily stupidity and drama
It runs fluidly with people I call "Friends"
I'm waiting for people to realize that I'm not who or what I used to be
That that person is long gone, good ridance.
I'm waiting for the world to finally put away everything.
Put away their hate against race, body types and looks, queer people, people who are different from them, and themselves.
I'm waiting for people to realize that love really is the ultimate power and with it we can change the world.
I'm waiting for people to realize that just because I prefer people of the same gender as me, that it doesn't make me any different. I would still like everything I do now.
And just because a girl is butch doesn't make her a dyke.
I'm waiting for the world to open their eyes and start loving themselves for who they are and it doesn't matter what they look like.
Who cares if I have thick thighs, they add to my curves and curves are sexy unlike skeletons.
