Overall, Box2Bounce is a fun, albeit short, and cute flash game. There were only a few things that irked me.

First, and this has been mentioned before, was the prominence of the sound in the game. It's just my opinion, but I believe that background music and sound effects should not be loud and distracting.

Another thing I found troublesome was your character's tendency to slide when it has stopped running. It caused me to run into quite a few of the little yellow guys, and is an annoying flaw in my opinion.

But like I said, Box2Bounce is a fun and original flash game. Collecting favorites is a nice little quirk and including the favorites earned and the time spent is a nice incentive to play again.

I like it! But I wish the sounds in-game weren't so remarkably prominent. It's somewhat disturbing and perhaps out of place while playing.

The controls can offer some idle frustration, particularly because your... character can barely jump high enough for the ledges.

Your game's art style feels pretty smooth and nice, though some more visible effect should occur when finding a "bomb", or when otherwise losing health. It just didn't have the visual feedback that can make deaths... fun.

While playing the game I felt the goal was a bit abstract and I didn't know how long it's meant to last, admittedly.

PS: I'm greedy with ratings, don't worry about it too much, ne? <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" />

Let's play Box2Bounce.
The preview window looks great <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":thumbsup:" title="Thumbs Up" /> but why there is a 2 in the game title it's not a sequal or anything like that so why to put there a 2. I know why because it was to hard to write "to" *drinks some beer <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":beer:" title="Beer before Liquor; will get you sicker" />*

Ok let's start the game the title screen looks great, but why you can't use your keyboard to select what you want to do. Why I have to use a mouse to do that??? And was it hard to make those boxes to have some difrences wich do what why do you get small text what the box do when you hover your mouse over the box only then text apear and it looks like it was done in a hurry. And where it sayes "choose a box" in the next line there is "|".

Ok lets try playing the game.
The grafics are awesome for a flash game. Animation are very smooth.
Controls are prety bad. When you hold forward or back for longer it gets more speed and to jump somewhere you must press space at the right time or you will hit the platform and bounce of. This get's realy frustrating when you trying 10 time's to jump on a platform and then 10 to jump on the other platform and then emote slips down from the platform AND YOU HAVE TO START FROM THE BEGING <img src="…" width="15" height="20" alt=":pissed:" title="Pissed" /> *drinks some more beer <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":beer:" title="Beer before Liquor; will get you sicker" />* Why cant he jump left or right from standing position that would be a lot easier.

When you reach the levels end you just hit the wall of the house and the screen just goes black for half a second and from that you must gues that you are in a difrent level. Was it so hard to put some summary screen or a screen that shows you that you are in a difrent level super mario bros had that even resident evil 5 has this *<img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":beer:" title="Beer before Liquor; will get you sicker" />*

Ok let's continue:
In entire game there is only ONE type of enemy some orange blob that's it was it so hard to change the color of the blob to green and make it have more life???

After seeing the main screen you thought there would be some boxes that you can get some coins or something that you collect well gues what THERE ARE NO THAT KIND OF BOXES IN THE GAME. And what do you colect is Deviantart's <img src="…" width="15" height="16" alt=":+fav:" title="+fav" /> icons well that's ok because it was ment to be for Deviantart. Your life is represented by a heart with + and here we are again with the text why so simple text the grafics of the game looks fantastic but the text in the game is like you opened notepad and wrote the entire text of the game there. The other thing that can hurt you is exploading present boxes but you never know wich is exploding and wich has a <img src="…" width="15" height="16" alt=":+fav:" title="+fav" /> so you have to gues and be hope you are lucky. AND GUES WHAT THERE ARE NO CONTINUE WHEN YOU DIE YOU HAVE START FROM THE BEGINING!!! *drinks some beer <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":beer:" title="Beer before Liquor; will get you sicker" />*

The end screen is also prety good for exception for the text.

Dont get me wrong this game is good but could do with few improvements. I hope next time you when you be creating a game add this thing's I mentioned.

lol for the Name I want to find something original, I think of many name but sure the "2" doesn't mean this is the second opus so sorry you are right for this point :thanks:

I didn't make the menu in a hurry btw I take my time for everything, I spend 2 days on a betat testing too :aww:
Plus this is not a "|" but "!", you are right this is not really useful. I choosed to use the same box to make somethingmore random and I want the same on the menu, next time I'll think of diferent form or color for the menu okay :)

Sorry I'll not make the moving easier this is a platform game so I guess this must be a little bit hard, I'm not sure I understand you on this point!

For the enemies no you are right I can add more sprite but the file size become bigger if I do it :aww:

You know for the text I wouldn't add new sprite as I said, I can't add a "pixelart" text for each pieces of text because more sprite = file size bigger. So I used the normal vector font but sure this is bad ^^;

This is so cute and an amazing way to make DA into an adorable little game. I just wished it worked for me! This probably isn't much of a critque but I just wanted to bring it to your attention so it wouldn't be lost in a sea of comments.

On my first try I got to 'level three' (and died :/) and then when I tried again for the second time opening the second box on level one took away a life instead of adding one. Then when I jumped to go to level two over the house, I disappeared in mid air. Then trying for a third time, I jumped over the house, went off the screen and got stuck. I've tried it multiple times after this and it just alternates either getting stuck or disappearing in mid air.

I don't know if its just me or if anyone else is having this problem but I hope the game isn't broken, its so cute!

At first glance, this looks to be a very charming game. I am especially fond of the use of emoticons, because it really adds to the game, and reminds me of the Shockwave games I used to wait 20 minutes to load back in the days.

However, when I actually start playing I notice that it isn't really working. Controls are loose as best, and you have actually little control over how your character acts, especially when jumping.
To get past obstacles is a chore, as it doesn't really want to move in the air, and when you try and run and jump you instead bounce into a wall and sent flying back a pretty good distance.
The controls are literally terrible.

As for the levels themselves, they are pretty short (which, given that it is a flash-game is acceptable) but they are very unimaginative. At most you need to jump a handful of times, but most of the time it's just going right without many obstacles besides slow-moving enemies that often doesn't want to die despite me jumping on them (instead costing me my life).

On top of that, I can't understand why some boxes kill me. They are chosen at random each level, so sometimes you'll get a point, and sometimes you die. If you're collecting the points you won't avoid dying, meaning it's impossible to finish with a perfect game with all points and all lives.

Most of all, the problem is the controls, as mentioned. They make the game feel bugged. Actually, the whole game feels bugged, because it ended for me when I jumped up and got stuck outside of the window with no way of getting back.

So this game gets plus for the cute emoticon-look and nice pixelated environment.
But a big minus on performance.

As I said, I love all its little details.. As the coins are actually <img src="…" width="15" height="16" alt=":+fav:" title="+fav" />s and the lifes are <img src="…" width="15" height="14" alt=":+favlove:" title="+favlove" />s is just amazing.
Even the motion that his shadeing still come from the left-top corner if I turn my dirrection..
I also like the background. The funny re-made advertisements give a lot to it's vision <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" />

I cant really say things which I dont like.. The art of it is awesome, I have a little problem with the moveing. When I jump with the fastest velocity I can get, and accidentaly hit the TOP or a WALL I just start back.. So I have to try again the movement..
Its not a big BUG, maybe its just me who dislikes that part <img src="…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" />

For the moving I understand, I really think a platform game must be a little bit hard and btw if I made the moving to easy it could be uninteresting I don't know ^^
