Utahraptor ostrommaysorum skeletal by MithosKuu Utahraptor ostrommaysorum skeletal by MithosKuu
The lateral view is heavily based on Scott Hartman's wonderful new skeletal, the rostral and dorsal proportions of the skull are based on a scaled up Dromaeosaurus, while the rostral and dorsal proportions of the body are based on my Velociraptor skeleton as that is what I had on hand.

Based on how stocky Utahraptor is laterally, I would not be surprised if it was actually much wider and bulkier dorsally, if more information is released to that effect I will update this render to reflect it.

If anyone needs access to the raw model files for educational purposes just send me a message.

Now if I made a model based on this, what can I do with it?

If you use this for reference, you can do whatever you want with what you make, that's why I made it

Wow this is exellent, I were looking for a top view of utahraptors skeleton and this is more than what I was looking for :D Also you're quite talented and patient to make these models.
Also May I have permission to use this as a reprefrence photo for a model?

This is so well done! 3-D skeletals are a rare commodity, and it would be awesome if more people would make them.
I can understand why they are so rare though: I can't imagine how much work went into this.

Could you potentially 3d print this in life-size?

Yes but it wouldn't be cheap. At full size the skull would cost around $3100 to print and would need to be shortened by about 7 cm to get it to fit in one of Shapeways' printers. Maybe the good people at the 501st Legion might know how to put something like this together cheaper than going through Shapeways?
