CLARIFICATION: The term "feature horse" should more accurately be "other horse shown" - you may draw any horse in extras including companion equines, training companions, track ponies or competitors. (It isn't limited to other competitor's horses in the race.) If your horse is currently the only registered horse in a race, you may also create "ghost horses" to be able to gain those extra points on Tier 2-3 class races. (Note:  only appropriate race horses can run the race, so of course no Arabians or QHs in a TB race if you are drawing the actual race..)

:bulletred: Open Sept. 1st - Oct. 15th (Clock 8:00pm CST Clock ) :bulletred:

[click time link above for event countdown timer]

:bulletred: just a few minor tweaks - all races now have the same nomination requirements - hopefully it is simpler and less confusing. Minor tweak to some judging matrix. And races are now listed by which B.C. Race they qualify for, and have links to go directly yo that section if the journal. Weather/setting will be added soon. :bulletred:

The "Win-And-You're-In" races are qualifiers for the Breeders' Cup race series held later this year. Entry into these races is not required to get into the Breeders' Cup, but winners get priority on the limited spaces in those races. (Entering/winning one of the qualifiers in no way obligates you to participate in the Breeders' Cup series. Also, some juvenile races double as  "2017 Road to the Derby" qualifiers. :))

{ 2016 J.C. Breeders's Cup Series }

(Final race list. Event details still pending.)

There three "Tiers" of events, each with their own judging matrix, so pay close attention to the particulars of the races you intend to enter. :) For nomination approval, [ comment here ] - starting numbers will be assigned by RNG.

:bulletred: NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS (all races) :bulletred:
> Registered purebred Thoroughbred
> must have a minimum experience of 3 previous races, at least 2 of which must be predominantly effort based judging
> must have maidened (won at least 1 race), with one or more additional 2nd or 3rd place finish
