Grey Progression Worksheet
* Sorry, this was supposed to be a draft for an updated project, and accidentally was submitted fully. I'll leave it for now though. *
Baby phase
Stage 1 - Age Range:
Early: 4-6 months | Average: 1+ yrs | Late: 3 yrs
So where to start? Well, those cute baby "goggles" are our first clue. Yup, grey ALWAYS starts at the head - particularly near the eyes & muzzle, and then ears & throatlatch.
The tip of the tail is also often one of the earliest signs, and probably due to the fact that it is generally longer than the mane, it often turns in advance of the mane. The rate at which mane & tail grey out can vary - sometimes they both turn more quickly and other times stay mostly dark, but that tail tip is still commonly one of the early things to grey with the head.
The next spot we generally see turn grey is behind the elbows and in front of the hip. In fact as a general rule, inner contours generally grey faster than outer contours.
Some variations that can occur early on (stages 1-2)

Commission Information & Rules
> Slots & Availability
Open slots will be noted below. I only have a limited number of slots available at any time, to ensure that I don't become overwhelmed.
A single slot will generally be one (1) equine or canine drawing. However for "simple" level commissions, a slot may include a maximum of five (5) images if they are all to be on the same sheet.
In general, I'd request that you kindly limit your requests to 1 available slot at one time, so others can have an opportunity as well.
If slots are full you can be placed on a "wait list" for the next available slot. Being on a wait list is NOT a guaranteed commission as I may choose to close my commissions at any time (even if there are names on the wait list), but it means I will contact you first about whether you are still interested if a slot becomes open. Details and payment will not be arranged until your name is on an official slot.
Important! Not all art styles may be available at all times.
