TPS Look Again Honey

“Honey” ~ 10yo Thoroughbred mare

liver chestnut | 16.0 hh (163 cm) | 1,147 lbs (520 kg)

{ by Stephen Got Even* out of Wazzup Bonnie* }

PERSONALITY

Competitive, moody, intelligent, sensitive and strong minded but can be insecure. That's why she will need a rider with confidence and one that knows what they are doing. She also needs consistent training or she will most likely just find a way to challenge herself.
Other horses should not come up to her without any warning, they will probably end up with a bite or two. But she is also a loving horse to be with when they get to know her and show her trust.

HISTORY & ACHIEVEMENTS

Purchased as young stock by the Piantieri Stables in Italy, Honey was raised and trained there. As a green 3yr old, the filly was shipped to the US under lease where she was worked with by SVI's Shanice Rivers out of TwinRiverDowns in Oklahoma. They had a successful season before the lease contract ended and a Honey was shipped back to Italy.
Six months later in early 2017, we were excited to receive contact from Italy - and soon finalized the acquisition of this lovely gal! She returned to training under Ms. Rivers out of TRD. After retiring following her 4yr old track season, she was shipped back to Derbyshire for breeding and also began retraining as a hunt horse.
