CI Endaluci

"Chia"  ~  17 yr old  Thoroughbred mare

palomino || 15.1 hh (155 cm)

{ by Sato* out of Ensoleillée }

PERSONALITY

Chia is a "spicy" mare - confident, smart & energetic. As a youngster she was very pushy/mouthy, but has mellowed with age and training somewhat. Still will run you over if she thinks she can on a sassy day. Very determined when she puts her mind to a task, and highly competitive. Her smaller size should not be underestimated. Very active movement.

HISTORY & ACHIEVEMENTS

This palomino thoroughbred filly came to us from the closing estate sale of "Castellano International". She's a small package, but packs a big kick! Her first year on the track included a game but unsuccessful bid for some of the "bigs" on the US grade 1 dirt circuit, but her turf conquests were notable in the UK and she grew into a superb 4 year old, with 2nd place finish in the graded "Winter Stakes" being the only loss in that season. She retired to broodmare status for a few seasons before beginning retraining for her new sport life in dressage.
