Well, let's see here ... my initial impulse is someone's trying to chase her out of the room, but that doesn't seem to make a lot of sense; after all, if Ms. McCreary leaves, the school would just bring in another teacher.  Perhaps the haunting is aimed at her in particular, trying to convince her that she's going mad?  Which makes me want to know more about her background.  Well, it's early yet.
