So as I sit at my desk reminiscing there's always one place that I must stay true to and remember. When I created this account, back in the days when I used to go by my actual name -NickCreevy..I'm talking way way back when I used to be a regular banned user (I'm sure you can remember these times Moonbeam13 ) this community was a excuse to download beautiful wallpapers by javierocasio & celsojunior and try to mimic a Mac OS X menu bar on my old school hi-grade Windows XP that my Mum brought off QVC (I really did believe it was the shit). But then this place turned into a daily home for myself, it sparked some creativity inside of me I never believed I could ever come across. This is going back to the days when I met PascalPixel and he taught me how to create glowing circles in Photoshop (just so I could steal that celsojunior signature style) over MSN messenger, back when I was on the other side of the globe. We used to have incredible debates in those days to the point we became enemies and was constantly trying to do better than one another.
Always gathering a crew of people (Remember these times archanN?) over one another or trying to use proxy servers to bump up our website reboot entries for May1Reboot, and who had the most DDs, views or downloads on a deviation. It was really childish thinking back now, but at the time I was a terrible person that just wanted to do better in a weird way. This is going back a really long time and as I sit at the comfy age of 27 now, I have to thank PascalPixel for those times, because if it wasn't for you buddy I would of never discovered photography and being able to live a happy life today. Not to mention Moonbeam13 for forever unblocking my account and allowing me a gallery moderator status (yes that was the name for it). I must not forget the England crew of people I discovered at dev meetups (you know the drill neilmjones) of getting incredibly drunk in baker street and wandering around fenchurch street taking pictures whilst snapping our necks.
Times like these really makes me reflect on life in general, how much the little things make such a big impact on your life and self in future years to come. I don't think I have enough words to say how deeply thankful I am for this community existing..
