Apologies. I realized I've posted this everywhere except Deviantart, so here goes : (May the 4th be with you : a thread) As many of you know, I have been having some ups and (mostly) downs. On May 6th, I'll be shooting my Carmilla (Castlevania/Netflix inspired) costume. After that, I am retiring from cosplay. It's one thing to have multiple cosplayers make costumes/designs inspired by you without credit over the years, but the twist of the knife was 2 companies stealing a concept that took years to conceive, and longer again to win the 2015 DragonCon Star Wars Costume Contest. Both Zynga and Raid Shadow Legends (specifically "artist" Eugene Postebaylo) did me incredibly dirty (I won't even get into Star Wars and other people's roles right now). Not only that, but multiple "fans" have shown their appreciation by trying to put my work up for sale as NFT's. When you put as much time, energy, and your being into a craft as I have, it has huge creative benefits... but also harsh
