Mother and Cubs

A rare sighting of a mother Grizzly and her two cubs!

This family was walking above the main road, crossed the road between passing cars, and traveled further down the hill of wildflowers, right next to our tour bus. The mother showed no fear of the many cars piling up to get a glimpse of her and her cubs - she often walked several hundred feet beyond them (before they realized they had to catch up!) She was showing them some stuff in the flowers as they grazed around. Our tour guide was thrilled at this rare sighting.
