Pussycat, pussycat, where have you been?
On top of the bookcases I have been seen
Pussycat, pussycat, get down from there,
Before you get stuck and we tear out our hair!
Javascript is annoying, especially when you have to do it for a homework assignment on it, and the readings on it left something to be desired.

It snows too much in Buffalo.  And good Lake Effect jokes are surprisingly rare, though I think most of the inhabitants of this city find a lot of cause for them.

Disco music is fun when you're in a good mood, but it isn't very good at getting rid of a bad one.

Sinus headaches are a good excuse for not doing homework.

It is amazing how much nostalgia can hit you while reading about Reference Sources, because they often mention the sources you were introduced to as a kid.  Reading about the World Book Encyclopedia has brought back vivid memories of odd corners of my elementary school classrooms and the volumes' blue covers and gold lettering.
  • Listening to: Denise Williams - Let's Hear it for the Boy
  • Reading: Margaret Weiss & Tracy Hickman-The 7th Gate
I can't figure out how to making this @(*%ing thing upload my file!  Why the $)(& did this stupid sight have to go and make it more complicated while I was away anyway?  Sorry people. there may not be anything new from me for awhile.  I've got graduate school, so I don't have the $_&9ing time to to figure out unnecessary uploading mechanisms.
*stares*
*locates where her gallery has vanished off to*
*stares some more*
*goes crazy trying to figure out how to make a new journal entry!*
Went to see it with my sister Laura and my mother.  Thankfully the latter enjoyed it, even if she didn't get all of the jokes.  I lost count of the number of times Laura and I both cracked up and then it occurred to me that my poor mom was probably very confused as to what we found so funny.  She also likes Bill Nighy, and Keira Knightly, the latter mostly because she played Elizabeth Bennett.  Her assesment of Orlando Bloom is that he could play Mr. Bingly.  Or Edmund Betram.
I have concoted a wild theory that Annamaria and Tia Dalma are in fact the same person.
For the past few days, I've been watching extras on my new Harry Potter DVDs, and now I've started rewatching the movies themselves.  Observations so far:

When considering that the first movie has turned out to be the least impressive so far, it might not have been the best idea to force one to play silly games just to get to all the extras.  The only ones I've managed to see are the Columbus interview and one of the missing scenes, and the latter was on YouTube.
Hannah Abbott!  Sorry, I have a special liking for her.  I play her on Theatrical Muse.  I've tracked down screencaps of the deleted scene and made her a new icon!
I like the shrunken head much more than I did when I first saw PoA.  Though I haven't watched through the movie again yet.  Going to have to look for anything that foreshadows the events of HBP when I do.
So was the "Do the Hippogriff" song in the movie at all during the theatrical release?  I thought it might have been in for five seconds, but now I'm not sure.  They should have kept that scene in; it was the modern secondary school dance to a tee!
I have decided I want to start making them.  So I have download one of the programs recommended here on DeviantArt in the latest contest announcement, and now need to figure out how to install it.  Oh joy.  There appear to be three text files.  Maybe one of them will explain it?  Perhaps I should wait until the (somewhat useless) virus scanner finishes with its morning run?
Yes, I know.  I've been horribly negligent.  But I do have something else to put up now, at least.  I might put an older drawing up here too.

Listening to U2's "All Because of You."  Of all the U2 songs I've heard which I can remember at the moment, I rank them in order of preference:

Until the End of the World
The Hands That Built America
With or Without You
Trip Through Your Wires
All I Want is You

Beautiful Day
Bad
The Sweetest Thing
Sometimes You Can't Make it On Your Own
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
Everlasting Love
All Because of You

Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of
So for a complete random, reactions to thread titles at SCUSA in FictionAlley:

HMS Wolfstar(Sirius/Remus):I don't think I'll ever get the image of Remus yelling, "Sirius!  OSUWARI!" out of my head.  Ah, when, when fandoms featuring part-dogs collide...

Good Ship R/Hr:It was funnier before I learned it was a Friends reference(and no, I don't actually get the reference)

SS Fire and Ice(Draco/Ginny):They've come up with funnier.  Lots funnier.

HMS Fang and Flora(Bill/Fleur): They've been on tha thread a LONG time...
