Waiting for the Rain to Stop by MissIzzy Waiting for the Rain to Stop by MissIzzy
On the ground floor of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City, when the rain is pouring so hard that those who have to walk any distance and didn't happen to bring an umbrella with them are essentially trapped in the lobby until it at least gets lighter, and in the case of a museum located just outside Central Park, that's most of the patrons who didn't bring an umbrella(myself included). It was thus a very crowded lobby; I had trouble finding a seat. Some were distracting themselves with iPad & iPhone games, but others just wandered back and forth from the big window, poetically enough to become subjects of photographs themselves, a variation of the ones shown in some of the museum's annex galleries.

It stopped that afternoon, but only after I gave up and ran through the rain in search of the nearest subway stop(did I mention I had no idea even which side of the Park I was on at the time?)
