Hey, guys. I have a tumblr now.  I'm missazrael over there too, because I like that screen name, dammit, and that's what I go by.  Come on, admit it, if you saw a "You Are Dave Strider" by SupercoolusernamethatIcan'tthinkofrightnow, you'd be all confused, going 'but what happened to MissAzrael?' Anyway, there's a story over there that isn't posted here.  The stories over there are going to be of a more... smutty persuasion.  However, I will warn you, you probably don't want to follow me unless you want to get bombarded by WALLS O' TEXT. This week started out great.  I got to work all "Yeah, this is gonna be a good week for writing!  I'm going to bang out "After the Scratch: Sollux" AND "You Are Dave Strider VI" this week!" Then one of my douchebag students stole my iPod. And then I discovered that Dave Strider isn't the only one who uses music as a dissociative coping device. And all the joy and miracles were sucked out of the world. Seriously, though, my iPod did get stolen, and that pretty much sapped all my creativity and desire to make things happen in my two AUs.  Which is unfortunate, because I started "AtS: Sollux" and it was moving along really well, but now... b

HAI GUISE.  GUISE!! Now, I don't like sounding like a hipster douchebag (although I've pretty much determined that's what I am), but I've been in Japan for about three hours and suddenly... I get it.  Everything has become clear to me.  One single journey into the Land of the Rising Sun and it all makes sense. You guys... I FINALLY UNDERSTAND HARRY MASON'S SHIRT! Because that is a shirt and not a weird vest or something.  Yes, Japanese men really do wear extremely low-cut V-neck shirts like that.  Don't ask me why, I'd need to be here a few more hours before I could answer that, but... yes.  Nirvana at last!
