It was her final writing assignment, meant to be a part of her final grade, and it was due soon. She knew she should have written it ages ago, but with the Second Kindred war on her back (she didn’t mean to start a war) and the council calling her every few days for updates on the meetings and court decisions to be made she just simply hadn’t had time. So now she sat and stared at the prompt, begging for something to pop into her head.

Grand Finale Part 2What emerged from the hole caused by the explosion was a dark, quivering mass that slowly started to gain form and weight as it grew. At first it looked nothing more than an insubstantial wisp, but suddenly it was piling up on itself and it looked disturbingly fleshy with each passing moment. Bree waited outside the school with other students. The school after the announcement was a dreadful blur of activity and sensations, panicky students crying and calling their parents to please pick them up. Bree, on the other hand, liked to think she had been methodical and business-like with her father.

Having secured an interview at the high-school to teach a few classes, he headed down the path into the local town. He hoped there's a diner with pie.
Zell arrived on main street and started walking down the center of town. He smiled at everyone he saw. Mostly he got weird looks. He was used to that. He can be a bit unsettling sometimes. Long white hair tied back in a ponytail and a black trenchcoat seems unsettling to most people. But it's who he is, and he's not goi
