Moving to Discord (re: commissions)
Hey guys! I know it's been a while and all that jazz. I haven't been particularly active, and I just wanted to apologize for basically disappearing like that. I'm a old dog, who can't learn new tricks, and when it comes down to it, this new DA is just a bit too fancy and different for me. That's not to say that I'm gone for good though; I do still plan on updating this DA with adopts and some other adopts related art.
To that end, I'll be more routinely running sales through discord. I've been fairly successful whenever I do open, whether it be to patreons or to the general public, but I do know that there are some people who follow me (and are interested in commissions) that don't have or follow my server.
Let me just put it out there: I probably won't be running sales through DA journals any more. If you want to commission me, you'll have to catch me with slots open ... in discord. It's a more user-friendly experience to me, and one with which it is very easy to transfer references and final art. I don't mean to strong-arm someone who isn't interested in joining, but after over a year or so of mostly discord commissions, I have to admit the realities of the situation. I'm really sorry if this is an inconvenience, or if it even turns potential clients away, but please, if you're interested in commissioning me, consider joining my discord!
I know I don't hawk my patreon very often, but my friends have said that I should promote it a bit more.......... Here ya go! If you like what I do, and would like to support me, I'd love to have you! As a patron, you'd get access to patreon-only commission slots and commission types, a private discord channel, previews and pre-sales for adopts, progress gifs, sketches and wips, and a couple of other small things! Even if it's only one dollar, I appreciate any and every supporter I have. Thanks for considering, and hopefully we can all grow artistically together
That's sad to hear, but understandable. I'm not very fond of how the new DA works either. Are you still going to continue to put art here?
Since you brought up the topic of commissions, it gives me a chance to ask something I've been wondering for a while: Do you offer Stygian commissions (when you have free commission slots of course)? That's how I originally found you, through seeing some of the amazing Stygians that you've made and then becoming curious about the rest of your work. Of course, I see you have your own species now, Verdeer (which is really pretty btw!), and I would completely understand if you wanted to devote all of your attention to that.
